Chapter 14

Bea POV

We just finished eating with the team and decided to take a walk together.

I slipped my fingers and intertwined with hers. She wasn't complaining though so I didn't pull back.

"Matagal ka na bang may gusto sakin?"

"Quite sometime I guess."

"Since when?"

"Since I saw you in the sand."

"Bakit ako?"

I smiled and faced her. Hinawi ko yung hair na tumatakip sa maganda niyang mukha and held her face.

"At bakit hindi ikaw?"

"Kasi ang itim ko at straight ako."

"You're the prettiest girl in UST."

"Di mo pa siguro nakita lahat ng taga USTE since you haven't been there."

"Kailangan ko pa bang makita lahat kung nasa harapan ko na yung pinakamaganda sa kanilang lahat?"

"Alam mo nambobola ka na lang."

Bigla kong hinubad ang damit ko and was left in my sports bra kaya nagulat ito.

"Ano bang ginagawa mo?" Nahampas pa tuloy ako nito when I noticed the blush creeping on her face.

"Tara let's go for a swim."

Hinubad niya na rin ang suot niya and was clad in her swimsuit as I pulled her hand towards the sea.

"Bei teka malalim na dito."

"Don't be afraid you have me. I will never let anything bad happen to you."

Lumalagpas na ang tubig sa leeg namin when I felt Cait wrap her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist as I thread my legs for us to keep us afloat.

We were just staring at each other not saying a word but her lips appear so inviting so I dove in. She was initially not responding but she didn't move back. I scanned her face and her eyes I couldn't read what she's thinking so I just went with my gut and took her lips again this time with much more force and desire when I finally felt her responding to my kiss. I have always dreamt about it. That someday I would finally be able to cover her lips with mine. All those sleepless nights everytime magigising ako na nakatulog siya sa braso ko kakaiyak sa past niya at di na ko nakakatulog pa habang minamasdan ko ang maamo niyang mukha wishing so bad na sana ako na lang ang minahal niya coz I will never let anyone replace her in my life. She will always rule my heart. She will occupy the most part that there would not be any space left for any other girl to even steal her spotlight.

"The way you kiss back tells me you are not so straight after all."

"I hate to think about labels pero ang hirap di mahulog sayo Bea. You took great care of me. It made me so confused if naiimagine ko lang ang lahat."

"Whatever you felt that I had been doing for you, to you. It has always been real. I have an eye for you since I saw you. I will take care of you for as long as you'll have me."

"Pasong paso na ko sa promises Bea."

"I'm not promising Cait. I will do it. I am meant to do it. Just tell me this is what you want too. You hold my heart and can do as you please."

"Ang gusto ko lang naman yung taong mamahalin ako ng tapat at rerespetuhin ako. Magagawa mo ba yun Bea?"

"Of course Cait. I have loved you for as long as I can remember. So tayo na?"

"Anong tayo na ligawan mo naman ako. Ano ka sinuswerte just because sanay ka na sinasagot agad."

"Hindi naman sa ganun pero sige ligaw lang pala e. But does this mean na we are exclusive?"

"You mean exclusively dating?"

"Yup. I mean hindi ka na magpapaligaw sa iba."

"May nakikita ka bang ibang pumoporma sakin?"

"Aside sa ex mo. Uu marami they are just not as forward tulad ko."

"Nung pumasok ka sa eksena for some reason di ko na mabigyan ng 2nd chance yung sa amin. Di ko nga akalain na ganun ganun mo lang sasabihin na gusto mo ko. It was so casual. Over popcorn and a movie."

"Magpapaligoy ligoy pa ba ko knowing andaming may gusto sayo?"

"Like who?"

"Wag mo na alamin baka bigyan mo pa sila ng chance."

"Ewan ko sayo Bea. Ayaw pa talaga sabihin."

"Ok na yun para di mo na sila pagbigyan."

"Pero totoo ba yung ramdam niyo talaga sino karibal niyo?"

"I believe so. I mean we can see through their actions and intentions. Nonetheless, if they come out and go after you. I will be prepared. Di naman ako basta papayag to go down without a fight especially for a girl na matagal ko ng gustong maging partner in life."

"Partner in life? That sounds so serious."

"Seryoso naman talaga ko sa'yo." And I captured her lips once more.

"Ikaw di pa nga kita sinasagot umiisa ka naman."

"Sorry your lips are so tempting kasi."
