Bea POV

Naaya ko siyang manood ng The half of it akala ko magrereklamo siya coz it's a girl to girl movie.

"If hindi mo trip we can watch something else."

"No it's fine para naman mamulat ako sa mundong ginagalawan niyo nila Deanna at Thang. Diba? So I can be a better ally for you guys."

"An ally? Cool."

"Grabe naman why can't they just tell each other na patay na patay sila sa isa't isa instead of making both of their lives miserable."

"Kasi di naman ganun kadali umamin sa taong gusto mo."

"Pano malalaman ng gusto mo na gusto mo siya kung di niya sasabihin diba? Someone has to speak up."

"That makes sense but if it's so easy for you. Natry mo na ba umamin sa taong gusto mo?"

"Hinde pa and it's not my job to do so."

"We live in a modern era na kaya, girls can assert themselves more when it comes to people they like. Di na kailangan ng gender stereotypes dun."

"Ah basta pag ako may gusto sa isang tao di talaga ko aamin magkamatayan na."

"Wow what a stance in that case then. What if I tell you na gusto kita?"

Humarap ito sakin with her brows creased as if I just spurted the most incredulous statement of the year.

"Seryoso ka ba?"

"Do I look like I'm joking?"

"I feel like it's so random to just say that out of the blue."

"Well the situation calls for it random na kung random but please don't tell me it's unbelievable."

"Hmm...can you tell me once more?"

"Yung gusto kita? I like you as more than friends. I want you to be my girl Cait."

"Bei di ko alam ang isasagot ko to be honest. I was a bit surprised but thinking about our setup it wasn't really that surprising. Can you give me sometime?"

"Of course. That is a much better answer than no. I'll take that any day. And if maiilang ka I am willing to transfer to another room."

"That won't be necessary naman siguro."

"Bei!"

"Hmm?"

"Kaya ba ayaw mo sa kanya kasi gusto mo ako?"

Bahagya akong natawa sa realization niya. Buking na buking.

"I wish there was another way to put it but frankly yes."

"Ikaw ba yung taong deserve ko?" I gave her the look as if asking if she heard it and she nodded.

"I sure hope I am."

The next day she came out of the bathroom only wearing her sports bra and cycling shorts while her hair is wrapped in a towel. Napabalik bigla ito ng banyo when she saw I was awake.

Lumapit ako sa door ng banyo.

"Akala ko ba walang ilangan? Gusto mo bang abutan kita ng shirt at shorts?"

"Kung ok lang pls."

"Uhm which ones?"

"Just grab anything."

Pumili na lang ako ng kahit anong short at damit na madampot ko sa cabinet niya.

I knocked on the bathroom door. "Here it is." She opened the bathroom door slightly just enough to extend her arm. I handed her clothes to her.

"Thank you Bei."

"You're welcome." Then I headed on my bed and plopped down while facing away from her.

"Sorry Bei."

"I did give you the option of me transferring rooms if it was gonna be awkward for you."

"I know but just give me sometime Bei to get used to it."

"Ok then." I raised my hand with a thumbs up while still not facing her, just to let her know I understood.
