"[NAME] YOU KNOW you can't leave until your nanny or dad picks you up," your teacher said, her voice stern but not unkind. You had anticipated this, so with a well-practiced innocence, you pulled out a neatly folded sheet of paper from your backpack. It had taken you forever to perfect Aizawa's signature, but now it was flawless.

Your handwriting was impeccable for a five-year-old, not a single shaky line or out-of-place letter. No one would ever guess you forged it. The note simply read, "[Name] is allowed to walk home alone."

The teacher glanced between you and the paper, her brow furrowed in suspicion. After a few tense moments, she sighed heavily, clearly unconvinced but resigned. "Alright, you can go."

Your grip tightened on your backpack as you walked out of the school, a surge of relief washing over you. But this wasn't over yet. The real task had just begun.

You had to find Chisaki. The Shie Hassaikai headquarters lay in the opposite direction of your house, deep in the city's more dangerous district. It was a huge gamble. You knew that. But the main story hadn't kicked off yet, and you needed to act fast.

The streets grew rougher as you walked further, the cracked pavement casting an eerie ambiance. You felt eyes on you, watching.

Probably wondering what a kid like you was doing here. You gulped but held your head high, pretending you weren't terrified. Worst case scenario, you could always flood the place and make a run for it.

Lost in your thoughts, you didn't notice until it was too late—you'd bumped into someone. Your heart dropped as you looked up and realized whose legs you'd just run into.

Standing before you, towering like a mountain, was none other than Pops, the leader of the Shie Hassaikai.

"Whoa there, kid," Pops said, looking down at you with a mix of confusion and amusement. His gruff voice made you momentarily freeze, but you quickly shook off the nerves. You were on a mission, after all.

You stepped back, dusting off your clothes, and gave him the best innocent smile you could muster. "Sorry about that, mister."

Pops squinted at you, his sharp gaze softened by the kindness etched into his aged features. "What's a kid like you doing in a place like this? Shouldn't you be heading home?"
