"AWW FIZZLE NUGGETS!" you cursed, glaring at the water splashed across your skirt. The wet fabric clung uncomfortably to your thighs.
"This cannot be good for my popularity," you muttered, staring helplessly into the bathroom mirror, cheeks flushed in embarrassment. You couldn't believe you'd managed to spill water all over yourself right before class, and the thought of walking back out there was horrifying.
As you tried to dab at the stain with a paper towel, the door creaked open. A girl with long, ebony hair and sharp, intelligent eyes stepped in. She was impeccably dressed in the same uniform as you, but there was something about the way she carried herself—poised, graceful, like she belonged in a magazine.
"Oh my, are you alright?" she asked, her voice soft but filled with genuine concern.
"Uh, yeah, just... spilled some water..." You trailed off, realizing who was standing in front of you.
She gave you a sympathetic smile. "Don't worry, I've got you covered. I'm Yayorozu Momo" Before you could even react, she untucked her shirt in one fluid motion, closed her eyes, and her hand briefly glowed. In seconds, she pulled out a neatly folded, pristine skirt, as if it had materialized from thin air.
Your eyes widened in awe. "Wow, your quirk is even more impressive up close," you blurted, still a bit starstruck by the whole display.
She handed you the skirt with a gentle chuckle. "Wait... how did you know about my quirk?" she asked, tilting her head curiously as she observed your reaction.
You fumbled, quickly nodding as you reached for the clothing. "Uh, well, I've heard rumors floating around," you stammered, trying to play it off as casual. You weren't sure how to explain that she is actually a manga character.
Momo smiled, her eyes sparkling with warmth. "I see. Well, you're quite famous yourself, [Name]." She gave a knowing look, one that made you feel seen but in a way that wasn't intimidating.
You blinked, taken aback. "Me? Famous?" You let out a nervous laugh, rubbing the back of your neck. "Hah, it's nothing, really."
She shook her head. "No, really. People talk. They say you have a lot of potential." Her compliment was sincere.
