Warning: cursing.

1246 words.

Just a fluffy chapter where Hinako is hanging out with her besties. The song today is by FLAT BLACK. I hope y'all enjoy. I recommend starting the music when Jiro says "Heck yeah." After Hinako mentions the song name, you can start it beforehand though. Solid 1,000,000/10 👌👌👌👌👌👌

"Kyo-san you made me a whole notebook?!" I take the composition book from her, having deja vu of Midoriya's hero analysis notebooks. I flip through a couple pages and smile, finding everything organized by first lesson to last lesson, the last lesson the one I'm here for today. I wipe a tear from my right eye, "It's beautiful." I say dramatically, smiling widely, "Thank you! Notes really help, and these are amazing!" I flip through some more pages then slap the notebook shut, "Is this mine or do you want me to give it back?"

"Keep it." She smiles, "Anyways, let's get rocking, I haven't played with you in so long." She pokes my cheek with her earphone jack affectionately, her smile softening into a mischievous grin, "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

I return her mischievous grin, "Why wouldn't I, Kyo-san? What kind of friend would I be?" I chuckle, setting down the notebook on the floor by the door, "'IT'S YOUR LACK OF RESPECT' by FLAT BLACK, right?"

"Heck yeah."

She pulls out her bass guitar and I go sit at the drum set, twirling the drumsticks between my fingers, itching to start banging away to the beat of the tune. Jiro starts the music on her speakers and turns it up, the walls being thick so we don't have to worry about the hardcore music annoying anyone else in the building. The song starts up and I grin widely as Jiro and I begin to play.

I beat on the drums as she strums her bass aggressively, both of us banging our heads to the song and singing with the English lyrics, practically screaming the line "IT'S JUST YOUR GOD-DAMN LACK OF RESPECT!" At the top of our lungs. We smile and sing and play our instruments to the maximum amount of enthusiasm possible. I'm pretty sure we broke the noise-cancelling walls with this one. We only ever did this at her house so we didn't scare my cat or my mom's cat, so to be able to go full out again is exhilarating!

"Heck yeah!" I raise my drumsticks up and hit the last note, exhausted but feeling so much more alive! "That was absolutely rockin!" I grin, sweat beading on my forehead from the amount of exertion that took, "I haven't had this much fun in a long while."

"Yeah, that was totally rockin!" Jiro agrees with a big smile on her face, "Anyways, we should get to your final lesson."

"Yeah, definitely. I'm still not as good as I can be!" I chuckle, twirling the drumsticks between my fingers again, "You're a great teacher you know." I admit, still twirling the drumsticks as I look down at my feet, truly grateful to have Jiro as a friend, "I don't know if I've ever said this but... thank you. For the lessons and for being my best friend."

"Totally man." She blushes out of embarrassment, "Hey, I uh, I know I haven't exactly been talking to you since the whole Kaminari thing but... you're right, you know." She twirls her earphone jack around her fingers, resting her right arm on her bass guitar, "And uh, I'm glad you're my friend too."

"Wait, wait, wait, wait. Rewind here, TELL ME EVERYTHING!!!"

"You don't need to sound so eager about it..."

I yawn, stretching as far as I can go with Todoroki's head on my shoulder, our therapy session in session as of a few minutes ago, "You seem extra touchy today, Todoroki-san." I admit, "Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah." He says, tilting his head so he can look me in the eyes, bangs falling down onto his face and tickling his nose, "Just contemplating."

I chuckle, reaching over to move his bangs to see his beautiful eyes, "Say, Todoroki-san, would you mind if I called you a nickname?"

"Not necessarily."

"Todo-san it is then." I smile softly, tucking his hair behind his ear, "You know, you're handsome when you're a softy like this, you don't have that pissed off face you always wear."

"Hm, interesting." He tilts his head so his bangs fall back onto his face, then tilts so that he's looking forward, "Anyways, I've been doing the extra classes, as you know." Time for the therapy portion. I smile, giving him my full attention, "Bakugo is a nuisance as always, but Inasa isn't so bad anymore. Maybe you could watch us tomorrow, for your whole studying the class thing."

"I'll see what I can do." This definitely isn't a normal therapy session, usually he's talking about his mom or his dad or something related to family issues, but this just seems like therapy was an excuse to talk to someone, "Hey, if you want to talk to me outside of being your therapist you can just ask." I let my features soften, yet keep my happiness in my voice, "I'm your friend too, that's what friends are for, right?" My brows furrow, "I think."

"Midoriya said something similar about what friends are for." Todoroki furrows his brows, deep in thought, "Then he went on saying he was going to save people and make them smile or something."

"Sounds like Midoriya-san." I chuckle.

Mirio runs past the dorm building, sunrise glowing brightly behind him. It's a slower jogging pace than he's done before, but for a freshly recovered patient he's doing really well. He's waves to me up on my balcony, his usual morning routine, and I hold my tea mug tighter in my right hand so I can wave back with my left, a tired smile on my face.

He grins and runs off, to which I sigh and go inside. It's become my morning routine to stand outside on the balcony until he waves and runs by then I go back inside, finishing my tea before I get ready for the day. It's a pretty simple routine, but my fulfilling day makes up for it. Now when I go to Recovery Girl for medical training, I also get a checkup because she has to do surgery on a labrum tear in my hip socket. I'm absolutely terrified of surgery, so she just healed up my evulsion fracture and sent me on my way, asking that I do checkups when I go to her for training.

I'm still in pain a lot of the time, but that's bearable. When Recovery Girl did a scan of my hip to see the damage and had to stick contrast in, I nearly came off the table when I saw a long needle sticking out of my hip and felt the pressure of the contrast. I even had to use my security stuffed animal.

Petting my cat briefly I head down to breakfast and grab whatever is being served, not paying much mind to it as I eat the food, delicious flavors on my tongue. I make quick work of the food and head back upstairs to grab my support course bag, having already filled out a form to go with Bakugo and Todoroki to their training.

I find them outside, waiting in front of the bus with All Might and Present Mic. I wave tiredly, smiling at the group, "Sorry I'm late, I wanted to eat something." I claim, wiping stray crumbs off of my jumpsuit, "Let's go before we're late."

"I agree." I see a look in Todoroki's eyes that seems like he wants to say something, but he just gets on the bus in front of me silently, a smart ass jab or two said to Bakugo on his way.

I can't wait to see what they do.
