Aizawa looks at me skeptically from the question I just asked, "You think it would be beneficial? I guess if you really want to miss lunch then sure, but it won't change much." He waves me off, "Now go put your bags in the back, I don't care either way, but I won't force you either way. Just don't get caught in the mudslide." He then walks off, still tired as ever as he climbs onto the bus, sitting in a seat near the front.

I only asked that since Class 1A will be dropped off after an hour-long bus ride in a secluded area to test their skills before making it to camp, should I go with them and document from the trees. It might be beneficial to checking the progress against unforeseen foes, and getting that information out of Principal Nezu was hard work. I sigh, knowing the fate of Classes 1A and 1B weighing on my shoulders, and All for One's promise to me sitting in a pit on the forefront of my mind. Shaking my head I throw my bags into the back of the bus and take a seat near Aizawa in the teacher's seats at the front, some of Class 1A still putting their bags in the back.

"Let Kurogiri take you as well, and alongside me the doctor will safely transfer my gift to you. This is a great honor for you, and will aid you in living your double life. Now go, and see to it you and your classmates get captured." His voice rings in my head in repeat for the whole hour of the drive, the chatter of the class behind me silenced as I contemplate. I have no clue what this 'gift' is, nor why I have to aid in capturing Bakugo and Tokoyami, but that's questions to ask after the fact. All for One offered me a seat beside Shigaraki in the League of Villains, but something about being a hero and a villain when both aren't so different morals wise seems off to me, like there's a piece of a puzzle that's flipped in the picture but both ways you put the piece look correct. I sigh again and get off the bus, stretching my limbs along with the rest of the class.

I don't even notice when the Wild, Wild Pussycats Mandalay and Pixie Bob show up until their cheesy introduction is over. That's when Pixie Bob sends the class off down the hill in an extravagant mudslide, looking at me in my dusty support course jumpsuit to conclude I'm here to observe and not be thrown into the lion's den along with the lot of them. Instead her mudslide brings me up into the treetops, thick limbs holding my above average weight with ease. There's no complaints from the class since they're too busy listening to the fate they have to endure from the pros, and they probably didn't see me since I went in the same slide as them, just not the same vertical direction.

After a rude awakening to Mineta, who peed himself and smells absolutely horrible now, the class begins to fight dirt monsters, courtesy of Pixie Bob. I hop between tree limbs to watch, writing down noteworthy improvement in combat skills as I go, I restrain myself from helping out though, knowing full well these students can take care of themselves... for the most part. Kaminari just went brain dead, lovely. I sigh, emphasizing the fact that he can't go full power at 1.3 million volts without getting stupefied in my notebook.

"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami's voice catches my ears from his spot right below me, and I watch as he sends Dark Shadow slashing through dirt creatures and restraining them so his classmates can get hits off on some. I note that he's a good team player when in control of Dark Shadow, and that he's hot as heck when he's focused... but the second part is only for my mental notepad.

Speaking of hot, Bakugo is blasting dirt creatures left and right with his explosions, and Todoroki is using his left side, flames pouring down his arm and into the direction he gestures his hand. I note that Todoroki has better control of his fire, and is willing to use it on occasion, and that Bakugo's explosions are a seemingly hotter temperature than before and more pinpointed when attacking a specific target. Overall, everyone is making small improvements, and I make sure to note something about all of Class 1A's students.

We make it to the training camp a few minutes before 5:30pm, thankfully I packed a protein bar in my pocket and ate it around lunch time. Class 1A is congratulated, and slightly flexed on by Pixie Bob and Mandalay, especially Iida, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Midoriya. Gosh dang! I watch as a kid named Kota punches Midoriya right where the sun doesn't shine when he tries to introduce himself to the kid. That was a low blow...

As soon as that's over with, Mandalay shows the class to dinner, claiming it's the only night they'll be serving it to them. I assume I'm considered part of the staff because they don't look at me when talking about training and food. I eat with them, though, sitting next to Kirishima and Kaminari on the left of Kirishima. They pile their plates high with meat and bowls with rice, scarfing down rice like no tomorrow, "WAIT, YOU HAVE BEEF?!" Kirishima suddenly exclaims with a mouthful of rice, looking at Pixie Bob as she walks past.

"Yes." She smiles, waking around between the tables to hand out beef that's fresh from the platter. I take some too and place it on my plate, making it nice and spicy.

Kirishima looks at me after he's done scarfing his third bowl of rice, "Hey, that smells good, may I try some?" He asks, voice rough from dehydration mixed with his natural voice.

"Have at it, careful though, it's spicy." I offer him my plate and he takes a strip of spiced beef, placing it in his mouth carefully and chomping it with his sharp teeth, "I added a few random spices so it's not consistent, but it adds a nice kick to it in my opinion." I chuckle awkwardly and rub the back of my head before grabbing a piece myself and dipping it in rice and eating it, spices coating my tongue and lingering after I swallow.

"That's really good! You cook often or something?" Kirishima asks, snagging another piece of meat from my plate.

"I usually cook with my dad, I can bake too, probably not as good as Sato though! Haha..." I stuff my mouth with rice so I can avoid conversation or awkward silence that may follow my comment, although the chatters of his classmates are so loud I doubt that'd happen.

"That's totally cool! I only know how to make tea and that was because Fourth Kind drilled it into our skulls." Kirishima chuckles too, "He taught us good manners though, and now I can be a better man because of it!"

"That's good Kirishima-san! Hero work isn't just fighting and saving, but having good manners too. It might not be clear why, but manners are important." I chuckle, "I just talked in circles, I'm sorry about that." I always seem to lose my tongue around you, Kirishima.

"It's alright! You didn't really make sense for a bit there but..." He shrugs, continuing to eat his food at rapid fire pace.

"Ahh..." I sink into the bath water, letting the warmth envelop my skin from all sides all the way down to my neck, floating in the water until I hear the devious laughter of Mineta from the other side of the wall, "MINETA I SWEAR TO ALL MIGHT IF YOU CLIMB OVER THIS FENCE I WILL PULVERIZE YOU AND YOUR HERO NAME WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT MEANING!" I shout, hearing drool drip to the ground and Iida scolding the pervert profusely. I groan, dunking my head under so I don't have to watch this unfold. I won't actually pulverize him unless he sees us, and I heard Mandalay telling the kid Kota to watch for him so the grape juicing of Mineta might not ensue today.

Muffled voices catch my ears but are drowned out by the water, when the yelling stops and Ashido starts waving her hand saying something, I pull my head out of the water. Just as I do so, I hear Ashido's thanks to Kota and see him take a tumble to the other side, blood spilling from his tiny nose. Way to traumatize him... I suppress a chuckle by sinking back under the water until it's up to the bottom of my ears, assuming the kid was saved, having heard Midoriya say something about taking Kota inside. The girls then go back to their chatting as I float just under the water, knees pressed to my chest so I don't touch the bottom.

"Hey Hinako, whatcha say we have a sleepover once this camp is over? We could do our nails, hair, maybe talk about the boys we like..." Ashido suggests, wiggling her eyebrows.

"I'll think about it." I mumble, planning to skip out entirely unless Jiro asks me to go the day of, and I spontaneously decide to. Ashido looks at me skeptically, but grins anyways, telling me she'll 'see me there'. I groan and sink back under water.
