Am I good or what? Anyways, sorry this took so long, I've been super busy with all the things in life and so I haven't been writing as much. I'm reading a lot more though, I highly recommend you check out the 'Dresden Files' by Jim Butcher, it has had me hooked since book one. Anyways, have a good day/night/afternoon. And if you celebrate Halloween, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! 👻 👻👻👻👻👻

Best Jeanist looks at me warily, blood coating his face and upper part of his hero costume, "I believe we'll be okay here now that Deku showed up. I assume if we ran into trouble then others did as well." He nods down at Bakugo, "Edgeshot will take care of him, if you see something you should save your energy and go."

I sigh, looking down at Bakugo as I watch the many visions of the other fights in my left eye, seeing all of the fights laid out today. I also have visions of the work being done in the Coffin in the Sky and by other behind-the-scenes teams working to keep everything running smoothly. Doubt runs hot through my blood and one presently occurring moment catches my attention, the hospital.

Shoji is facing off against Spinner with Koda and I can't help but want to go to them. So I say my goodbyes and leave, dropping through the void and into the chaos of Central Hospital. The only problem is that I drop directly on top of Shoji, watching him shiver as the cold void passes through him. I place a careful hand on my back and keep my feet in a small portal void to keep myself from breaking his grip on the building.

He nearly swings his arm encompassed arm around to hit me but I lean down towards his ear and whisper, "It's just Hinako, let me help you." I pour my energy into his body, positive karma swirling in a bluish purple ring around my right hand where it connects to his back. Shoji sighs in relief and swings his punch, shouting back at Spinner's drool-filled comment, "It may be disgusting, but this is who I am!"

Shoji then throws a punch that knocks Spinner down a couple notches, but it doesn't fully get rid of him. He's still able to jump off and run into the hospital to get Kurogiri. That's when his following begins to question his actions, though, and Shoji and Koda are able to stop the horde of people before they can hurt any patients.

With that, I leave it to the capable hands of Present Mic to try and awaken his past friend to the good side if he can't stop Spinner. It all happens as I'm warping around to the Gunga Villa, having heard All for One is running and Dabi and Toga were getting ready to head there themselves. Apparently, according to my sources, Dabi copied Shoto's new move but with pure blue flame of hatred. That's when a flashback hits me like a sack of bricks, halting my pursuit in getting to my friends.

"'Soon you'll understand everything'? That's cryptic even for you." I bite my lip to keep the concerned edge out of my voice, "What do you mean Touki?" I ask, using my private nickname for him in order to get the point across that I'm worried, but I don't want to fully express my concern, it may hinder how much he tells of his story.

"Hah, sorry if it inconveniences you." Touya says sarcastically, "I just wanted to tell you my story before I tell Shoto... maybe get a feel for how he'd react, even though I already have an idea." His tone turns sour, almost like talking about his past leaves a bad taste in his mouth, "Look, I never wanted to be this way." He starts off, and I give my full attention to listening to him, "When I went to Sekoto Peak, my quirk had went haywire. The flames burning up my body to the point I didn't think I was gonna survive. But then All for One and the Doc showed up as I was unconscious."

His tone stays bitter, but not like it was before, "I woke up in a cheery, sunny little shit hole where little kids were cooped up. When I first woke up and realized I was alive, I went out and found a girl in a little playroom who said 'You've been asleep for three years'. I was horrified, as any little kid would be, and I begged to go back to my family, still hellbent on showing Enji Todoroki how much my flames had grown. I ended up going too, but no one noticed me when I was walking through the house."

"That's when I happened to walk in on Enji training Shoto... and I knew I had been left behind." Touya admits, voice getting scratchier by the second, "It was then I chose to make his life hell, and spent every spare moment I could training my body to be in perfect condition. I wanted to take his little Shoto away and make Enji Todoroki suffer." He sighs, finishing up his story, "I joined up with the League of Villains later even though I knew exactly what I'd be getting in to. All for a grudge against my old man."

"Damn." I blurt, not even meaning to mention my thoughts on this at all, "I knew you had been through a rough childhood,  I know that much from Shoto-san, but to be made into a pawn by All for One without consent?" I trail off, not wanting to think on that, "I know this won't change anything but I'm so sorry." I say sincerely.

"That's what shaped me into the man that I am, I wouldn't ask for it any other way..." Touya doesn't seem all too convinced by his own words, but he lets them slip anyways. We share a little bit of small talk for a moment longer before he hangs up, and I truly hope that Shoto will learn to understand...

I'm shot out of the ground at practically the speed of sound, and that stirs me from my flashback. I hit the ground with a solid thud and rub my nose as I move to stand, "Ouch." I mutter, wobbling on my feet with unsteadiness.

As it sometimes goes, that's when the world flips on its head right before my eyes.
