"I'll become someone you can be proud of, Shoto."

I watch Todoroki as he pulls up the video of a concert. Everyone seems on board with the idea, so I smile and let them do their thing. When it comes to figuring out who's role will be who's, the work study people come back to the dorm, everyone exhausted from the extra classes but excited to figure out what it is they'll be doing.

For the most part I keep out of their planning, sitting off to the side on one of the couches on my phone as I think of an edition to the support course item I'm making. There's going to be a bunch of big companies at the school festival, so I'll need to wow them with my creation; I didn't take all of those extra math classes for nothing. Power Loader had offered me the chance to work with Ectoplasm on math classes that would help in making my support items, so I'm not going to let that go to waste now.

I scroll through some pictures on the support course group chat, seeing what others are coming up with and what they're asking for help improving on. That's when I stumble across Yamagucci's item. It's simplistic but functional, and it really catches the eye in terms of color and purpose. Then I scroll past Hatsume's massive "baby" to find a sleek and all-purpose suit that looks like it should be off a television show.

If I ever thought I had an idea of what to create, I completely scratch it and pull out my notepad to start sketching something new. Using my lucky pencil from behind my ear I roughly sketch what I want my creation to look like, labeling the materials I'll need and summarizing its purpose on the back of the paper. Yes, this should work perfectly. I smile proudly, holding my sketch out in front of me to get a view of the full picture. This is one of those "AHAH!" moments that I haven't felt since creating the new and improved collapsible toolbox with help from Power Loader and a couple of the other support course students.

My new little gizmo should be a great addition to any heroes' toolbox, but it might fit some quirks more than others, which is what I'm worried about. I groan and hit my head with the notebook, hard, the anger issues that I try to hide showing clear as day to anyone who might've glanced over in that moment. Thankfully no one seemed to notice, all caught up in the fact that Jiro sings like an angel, that Bakugo accidentally admitted he took drum classes, and that Tokoyami and Kaminari shred on guitar.

"Hey, Hina-san," Jiro walks up to me while everyone else is working on who'll be dancing and who'll be special effects, "Woah, you look stressed." She realizes, seeing the smudge of charcoal pencil undoubtedly on my forehead when I lower the sketch book into my lap, looking up at her from under a sheet of disheveled blonde hair, "Something wrong?"

I hand over the sketchbook wordlessly, tucking my pencil behind my right ear where I got it from, "I had this AHAH! moment but now I'm not so sure." I rub at my forehead with my hand, pulling it away to find smudges of charcoal pencil, yep, knew it. I sigh, laying my hand down cautiously so I don't get charcoal everywhere before I get the chance to wash my hands.

"That's not as bad as you think." Jiro hands back my sketchbook, "You're super creative, you totally got this!" She encourages in her usual laid-back tone, "Anyways, I was wondering if you'd be a drummer for our class performance?"
