"So you say yes?" Matt said hopefully behind the phone. "It's just a dinner. I swear, Selma is the best restaurant you will ever visit."
I sighed, "Is there any other way to say no?"
Matt grunted. "Come on, do it for the team."
I toyed with the tv remote, channeling through reruns of old shows. A dinner wouldn't be so bad. "Okay, okay. Is it like a five star diner? I want to know if I need to dress up."
"Oh," he scoffed. "You definitely want to dress up."
I bid him goodbye. "Well, I'll try to dress up then. Take care."
I opened my suitcase, looking for a casual, yet fitted dress. But I haven't planned on going to dinners with boys to bring dresses from France. I sighed. Could black jeans and a simple top do?
I checked my phone. I had like five hours to get ready. And my credit card was begging to splurge. I could go to Barney's, which was reasonably close, they probably had cocktail-like dresses.I groaned, I didn't want to shop. Not that I didn't enjoy it, but I felt more like putting my head underneath my sheets right now. I was that lazy.
But being the daughter of the famous French supermodel, Astrid Chantal, I had to represent her well. So I picked up my wallet and headed out.

The dress looked even better than it did in the fitting room. I stared at myself, grinning. The black fitted dress hugged all the curves on my body. The dress was made up black lace, ending mid-thigh, showing off my long legs. I started to curl my hair in waves, dark brown tresses fell softly on my shoulders. I applied a swap of a peachy lip gloss, and golden bronzer before doing a soft smoky eye.
My phone started ringing.
It was Matt. "Hello?"
"You ready?"
"Yep. Pick me up whenever." I told him.
"Great. We'll be there in five."
I strapped on my heels. Put on my black trench coat. Walked through few pumps of fragrance... And trotted outside to wait for Matt to show up.
