Stella POV'S
Stella chewed on her pencil. She was leaning in boredom on her desk, her interest long gone before even class began. Mr. Farris had planned series of activities involving math problems in each station. The pair of students that got the most right earned a fifty dollar gift card to Starbucks. But Stella was barely trying. Her mind was wondering off to Jake.
He was off lately...correction---off for months. Something captured his attention or his worries. The sad thing was, Stella knew who this person was. Brenda.
She wanted to squeeze the life out of her. Couldn't she see her pissed off mood when she was around Jake? Or Jake being around her? Anything, she would've done anything to keep him. If only someone heard her woes. Some people said she was exaggerating so she stopped consoling them, but deep inside her very cold heart, she was sensing foreshadows to the future. Jake was losing trust, honesty and interest in her.
She cried herself to sleep last night.
Oh, Jake.

She and Amy followed the teachers instructions but they weren't doing anything. Amy wondered off later, a little irritated by Stella's mood.
Stella huffed, retreating to the corner of the room so she could think more about him.
A while later, a shadow was cast upon her. She looked up. A boy was standing in front of her, the boy she was with two weeks ago. "You again?" She remarked.
The boy, cockily raised a brow. "Oh don't you tell me you don't miss me?" His bright eyes flashed dangerously at her.
She pouted. "Chase, I told you. I don't want to be seen beside you. Remember? You promise to forget about me. We aren't suppose to be seen together."
"Yeah, you warned me about it. But come on, aren't you hard to resist? You know your irresistible."
She waved a hand. "Heard those empty words before. Bye, Chase." She shouldn't have hooked up with him that weekend. It was a mistake but oh well.
"Come. Let's get out of here." He offered her his hand.
She looked skeptically at him then at his hand. "What do you have to offer?"
"Anything your heart desires."
She smiled briefly. "Ok."
Without the teacher's notice, they escaped to the hallway. Quickly, they went inside a study hall class where no one was at sight.
"What do you suggest we do here?" she brushed her hand on the table coyly.
"I know you don't want me." He said sternly, his coyness disappearing. "I have news for you."
"News?"
"Do you want to keep Jake?"
Alarmed, she staggered forward. "Wait, how do you know about this?"
He smirked, his handsome face in joy. "Remember, you marked me." He pulled shirt collar to expose his bitten neck.
Cripes, she has. She didn't remember that much of that since all she was doing was worry. Now, he could sense all her pain. She wondered if the other donors were the same as well.
"What about Jake?" She cocked a shoulder at him.
"I have the solution. To make him yours."
She laughed. "Okay, go on. I'm listening."
Chase sat on top of desk, sizing up Stella. "Your looking really good."
"Don't change the subject." She approached him, her face tilted to her side as she batted her lashes.
