Diana's POV
We entered the party with masked smiles as the door opened with a welcoming storm of drunk teenagers.
Quick to his feet, Eddy greeted us. "Yo, Scott." He hiccuped, doing a chest bump with Kingsley. "You showed up right on time. We're doing body shots!" This got a wicked smile out of Kingsley as I watched him silently. Everyone screamed in joy when a new chick laid down on the pool table waiting to be devoured.
Ignoring me completely, he approached the table with a new found confidence. I gawked after him as he plucked a piece of cherry off a girl's mouth.
He received a large applause, pumping the crowd up.
Just in time, Amy grabbed me by the arm and hugged me with surprise. "Oh my gosh, Diana! Where have you been! You've been skippin' class!" Her eyes were shining bright with drunkenness. I smiled but my eyes were focused on Kingsley who lowered himself to the girl's pierced stomach, gazing at me through the crowd, testing my strength with mock as he slid his tongue all over her with circular motions.
Angrily, I marched to the kitchen, knocking few people out of my way.
"Wait up, Diana!" Amy ran after me.
Fine be that way, bastard. What are you anyway? You keep pushing my limits...so be it. I will shape you, you son of... You are a captain! You can't scare me in the work place!
To clear my head, I decided to start with the investigation, especially since the events at the back of Big Bang was still fresh in my memory. Coincidentally, I ran into Stella who was running like a wild cat around with a bottle of Scotch.
"Whoa, whoa. Easy there, Stella." I steadied her when she was about to fall on her feet.
She huffed in frustration. "Hi, Diana. I would love to talk but I have to meet someone." She pushed right past me in hurry. She didn't even acknowledge the swaying Amy who began clinging at me. "Okay, Amy," I plucked the beer out of her hand. "You need to sober up. Come on." I helped her get into one of the rooms and just in time...she puked into a trash can. "Gross." I wrinkled my nose. "Rest, Amy. Don't waste yourself." Another of her friends rushed and I left Amy with her.
I had an interviewee I had to find.
Catching up to Stella, I followed her upstairs without permission. She turned around, only to give me a questioning look, but she didn't ask me anything, apparently what she was doing was far more important.
Why was she with Scotch anyways? Its a party for teenagers, not a fancy bar at a club...
Stella turned to me with pure hatred. "I love you darling, but I have to see someone privately. Capische?" She looked dazzling in her black mini and her white tank.
"Uh, yeah sure." I muttered, looking past her in hopes of seeing the person in interest. "I'm meeting someone up their too." I grinned. I did not want to be downstairs to see Kingsley enjoying a company of a girl who I did not like.
"Fine, I'll see you later." She slammed the door behind her.
I rolled my eyes at her hostility. I guessed I should head downstairs after all, I did not want to snoop around looking for trouble. I took few steps when I heard Stella curse bloody murder.
I turned around, only to see a panicking Stella Evans yank open the door, she ran to the other rooms at the floor, screaming, "Jake!"
"What's going on?" I laughed. Was she going to go all romantic for him?
She snarled. "Get out of my way!"
I cracked up as I watched her in horror.
Some girls.
