Here I am staring mindlessly at my phone on the coffee table, contemplating on if I should pick it up and break the news to my husband. Is it worth raising this baby myself without telling him and invite possible repercussions in the long term? Fuck it. I regretfully grab my phone and go to my contacts. I slowly scroll down to his contact 'bitch ass' and take a deep breath before clicking dial. The ringing echoes through my brain hoping he won't pick up, but to my dismay he does.
"Wassup baby?"
"We need to talk ASAP."
"Bout what?"
"I'd rather spare the details for now, but can you meet me somewhere?"
"Sure, what about Carlson Park?"
That name sounds familiar, but I just can't put my finger on it.
"That's fine. How about 11?"
"Its cool with me."
"Okay."
"I love yo-."
I just hang up the phone briskly not allowing him to air out his complete thought. I really don't want to meet him because I don't want to deal with any bullshit. I am there to tell him about the baby and the baby only, nothing else.
1 hour later
I am standing by the serene lake at the park waiting for Chris to arrive. I arrived moderately early to the park, so I can gather my thoughts and figure out what I am going to say to him. I look around and see the park bustling with life; families enjoying picnics, children running around, and couples strolling hand-in-hand.

Chris arrives at the park approaching the water fountain with an anxious look on his face, his gaze scanning the park until he spots Beyonce. He walks over, visibly unsettled. "Hey Beyonce. You wanted to talk?" She nods towards a park bench and says "Yes, thanks for coming."
They sit on the bench, a gentle breeze rustling through the trees. Beyoncé takes a deep breath, her gaze steady. With a calm and firm tone of voice, she remarks "Chris, I have something important to tell you." Chris looks at her, his expression a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
