Cuddle Buddy

You were exhausted. You had just worked a double shift at your job, and you were in dire need of some sleep. You had just pulled into the parking lot of your apartment complex, trudging into the tall building and getting into the elevator. You got up to your floor and unlocked the door to the apartment that you shared with your boyfriend, Jeydon. You were being as quiet as you could manage being that it was one in the morning, but were immediately attacked in a hug as soon as you got through the door.

"Well hello to you too," you said with a giggle. Jeydon had his arms wrapped tightly around your waist and his face buried in your hair. You wrapped your arms around his neck and hugged him back for a few seconds before pulling away. You kicked off your shoes and hung your work bag on a hook by the door, turning to go into the kitchen. Jeydon stopped you though, grabbing your cheek gently and kissing you.

"I missed you," he said cheesily, resting his forehead against yours.

"I missed you too," you responded with a smile. "Now can I go get a glass of water? I wanna go to sleep."

"But I wanna cuddle."

"Cuddle with me in bed."

"But I'm not tired."

"Then go cuddle with Mokus." The cat strolled into the room and meowed, rubbing her head against Jeydon's leg affectionately.

"Mokus doesn't love me as much as you though."

"Go cuddle with Hunter then," you said, stepping past him into the kitchen. You grabbed a glass out of the cupboard, filling it up in the sink and walking into the hallway. You could hear Jeydon following you as you walked into the bedroom you two shared. You set the glass of water on the table, going over to your dresser and grabbing some pajamas to change into. You took off your black skinny jeans and replaced them with a pair of Big Bird pajama pants, taking off your blue work shirt and replacing it with a bright yellow tank top. You were aware of Jeydon standing in the doorway the entire time, but it didn't really bother you. You got into bed, looking at him with a smirk.

"Pervert," you said loud enough for him to hear you. He pouted, walking over to the bed and flopping down face first.

"Am not," he said, his voice muffled by the bed. You smiled, grabbing his hand and squeezing it.

"I know. Now lemme sleep."

"Noooooo..." He rolled over, right onto your legs, and looked at you. "I wanna cuddle."

"Jeydon," you whined, attempting to push him off of you bit failing miserably. "I'm exhausted. Please just let me go to sleep!" He moved off of you with a pout, trudging out of the room and leaving you to sleep. You laid your head back on your pillow and pulled the blanket tight around you, falling asleep in only a few short minutes.

You woke up after what seemed like only an hour or so to Jeydon getting into bed. He faced away from you and kept himself a small distance from you, the blanket tight around him. You frowned, suddenly feeling guilty for being so rude to him earlier. You moved towards him, wrapping your arms around his waist.

"Sorry I was being so mean to you earlier," you said tiredly.

"It's okay," Jeydon said, turning around in your arms so he was facing you. "I was being really annoying." He slipped his arms around your waist and pulled you into his chest. You moved your face up and kissed him quickly, snuggling into his chest and closing your eyes.

"You aren't annoying, Jey. You can just be irritating at times." He kissed the top of your head.

"I love you, Y/N," he said with a yawn. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." And with that, you fell asleep in his arms.
