That Girl.

She was a true beauty, but you knew you could never have her. She was gorgeous and graceful, nimble as could be, but you knew you could never have her. She was a magnificent creature, so intelligent and poised, but you knew you could never have her. She was just a girl, and it was just a garden, and it was just a tree.

She, Alex, you believed her name was, was as beautiful as a freshly bloomed flower. She would always jump over the creek in the woods behind your property and sit in a tree just at the edge of your yard. She would, as far as you could tell, draw your house. On occasion she'd read a book, but normally, she'd have her sketchpad, drawing the back of your house.

The back was the prettier side, the garden and the fountain and the illustrious floor mosaic beautiful, but not as stunning as her beauty. You needed to speak to her but you couldn't, just admire her beauty from afar. You wanted to see her closer up, so, and as creepy as this sounds, you grabbed a pair of binoculars, a few pencils, and a sketchbook and the next time she visited, you began to sketch. Your sketches became more detailed, turning into full blown portraits. You were proud, and you loved her look. You kept drawing her.

You wanted her to know you were there, happy to see she came to visit. You wanted her to know how much you admired her beauty, how much you wished to speak to her. But you mustn't say a word. If you do, she'll stop visiting. So you kept drawing.

You drew her until she stopped visiting. Her visits just ended, despite the lack of communication between the two of you. You wanted so desperately for her to come back, to at least allow you the chance to finish your half done drawing of her gorgeous face, but you couldn't.

You waited for many weeks, but to no avail. She didn't show up. As a last attempt to finish your drawing of the gorgeous girl, you looked around local art galleries. There were several of them, maybe fifteen at the most, and it took two weeks to check each of them.

And of course it was the last one you checked that you found a picture. It was a beautiful large painting of your garden on a grand piece of canvas. A littler drawing of the painti g was displayed directly to the right. A small name was written in the bottom corner of the piece. It was written quickly and beautifully, as you imagined her handwriting would appear.

Alex Dorame

A magnificent name. You had to find her. And you would stop at nothing until you did.

That painting...it's beauty stunned you. But it made you prepared to find her at any cost. It filled you with determination.

This was pretty short, and I know I haven't updated in forever. I wanted to keep constant updates going on this story but I haven't gotten many requests. So until I get more requests, I'm going to just upload whenever I get the chance. If I'm inspired to make something, I'll make it. But until then, I'll post whatever I have in my drafts. I have seven left after this.

Sorry if I'm disappointing you guys, but even I run out of inspiration.

So how have you guys been? It's been a while. There's a rumor going around that someone's going to be shooting up my school tomorrow. I'm going though, I can't handle not having my trumpet over easter break. I require it. I'd rather risk getting shot than having my trumpet left at school.

Stay safe, stay strong, and stay beautiful my Lil bitchez.

Yours Truly,

Andromeda Leigh Barnett
