HERA'S POV

Hera is silently observing the place and ambiance inside the bar. There are occupied tables near the the stage opposite to the bar counter. Yung dance floor ay nasa gilid lang nang stage. Tumingala ako sa second floor. May mga tables din doon at yung iba ay don na lang sumasayaw sa kanilang pwesto. I saw VIP room signage going to second floor when we enter the bar. People came here is well dress. Siguro, mga anak ng mayayaman. Why people love to go here? I mean, the music is too loud. Kapag mag-uusap kayo e nagsisigawan na. Dagdagan pa ng nakakasilaw na ilaw, usok mula sa sigarilyo at amoy ng alak. People are wild while dancing in the crowd with the DJ playing the songs. I don't judge them but this is not a place I will love to hang out with my cousins.

"Hera!"

Lumapit sa kanya si Matthew at inakbayan sya.

"Why do you guys want to go in this kind of place? It's too noisy in here plus the smell of mixed cigarettes and alcohol."

Reklamo ko sa kanya. Hindi ako maarte na tao pero ayoko ko talaga sa amoy ng sigarilyo at alak. Siguro dahil walang naninigarilyo sa bahay.

"It's also my first time here. Sa tingin mo papayagan kami ni Papa pumunta sa mga bar? It so happened that Tito Ion is the owner of this bar."

Ang tinutukoy nya ay anak ng pinsan ni Mama na si Tito Veron.

"Kay Tito Ion pala ang bar na to. Then, why are we here?Matthew?"

"To support Maxwell. He is going to perform here, remember?"

"Can I go home after his performance? Pag nalaman ni Papa dinala nyo ko dito sa bar. Bibitinin nya kayo ng matiwarik!"

Natawa ako ng mamutla sya. Well, my Papa is the sweetest person but he is also very strict. Disiplina militar ang aabutin nilang dalawa kapag nalaman ni Papa na dinala nila ako dito sa bar.

"Maxwell!"

Kumaway si Matthew ng makita ang kambal nya na paparating. Hinampas ko sya sa kamay at tumalim ang tingin ko sa kanya ng ginulo nya ang buhok ko ng makalapit sa amin.

"Hi, Princess. Mabuti at na e takas ka ni Matthew kay Papa Marco."

Iniyakap ko ang mga kamay ko sa braso nya.

"Good-luck my dear cousin. Ilang babae na naman kaya ang titili sayo?"

Natawa ako ng sumimangot sya!

"They sounds like minions to me."

"Haha! Ang sama mo!"

"I need to set-up our instruments at stage."

Paalam nya at umalis muna.

"I will go to the bathroom, Matthew."

Paalam ko kay Matthew at tumayo.

"Do I need to accompany you?"

Iwinasiwas ko ang kamay ko. I think, this is a first class bar kahit na first time ko sa ganitong klase ng lugar. The whole ambiance is not that bad. Also, they have a nice stage set-up. Decent atmosphere too, despite this is a bar. Ayaw ko lang talaga siguro sa maiingay na lugar, plus the smell of mix cigarettes and alcohol.

Natigilan ako sa pag hakbang ng pagliko ko sa hallway papasok sa rest room e may dalawang tao sa nakaharang sa daan. Nakasandal ang babae sa pader at yung lalaki na kasama nya ay nakaharang mismo sa hallway. Ang babae ay nakakulong sa mga braso ng lalaki na ipinatong nya sa pader. The lights were dim and I can't see their faces clearly.

"Excuse me."

I said and walk towards them. Tumigil ako sa tapat ng lalaki dahil di sya umaalis at nakaharang pa din sa daan.
