The city of Colombo was buzzing with excitement as the Indian team had just secured a spectacular win in the Asia Cup semi-final.

Dev's century had sealed the deal, and his teammates celebrated the victory like champions. Now, with the match behind them, the team and their close friends had a day to relax and unwind before preparing for the final.

Dev and Prarthana, along with Shubman, Ishan, Siraj, Arshdeep, Shahneel and Akshara decided to spend the day exploring the Colombo city, shopping, and indulging in some well-deserved fun.

Initially it was Prarthana's Idea as she and Akshara are visiting colombo first time, but than Shahneel joined than Dev as he can't miss the opportunity of spending some time with his love around the city. Arshdeep and Siraj decided to tag along and Ishan being the social butterfly fly too taged along with his buddy Shubman who was at first reluctant to join but got forced by Ishan.

The group gathered at the hotel lobby after a quick breakfast. The air was filled with laughter and light-hearted banter. Prarthana stood by Dev, a bright smile on her face. She had been thrilled to see him perform so brilliantly in the semi-final. As the group filed out of the hotel, the sun was shining brightly, and the tropical warmth of Colombo embraced them.

“Alright, where to first?” Dev asked, stretching his arms as he walked alongside Prarthana.

“I vote for shopping!” Prarthana chimed in, her eyes lighting up. “I’ve heard Colombo has some amazing markets and unique stores.”

Shahneel nodded enthusiastically. “I agree! I could use a little retail therapy.”

“Of course, you two would vote for shopping,” Siraj teased, his grin playful. “What about something more exciting? How about sightseeing first?”

Arshdeep raised his hand, pretending to cast an official vote. “I second Siraj’s idea. We can’t leave Colombo without seeing the famous spots.”

Dev chuckled, wrapping his arm around Prarthana’s shoulders. “Why not both? Let’s check out some of the sights first, and then we can head to the markets later.”

“Sounds like a plan,” Shahneel said, adjusting her sunglasses. “Let’s make the most of this day off.”

The group’s first stop was the iconic Galle Face Green, a seaside urban park that stretched along the coast. The cool sea breeze and the sound of waves crashing against the shore instantly relaxed them. Tourists and locals alike strolled along the promenade, and children flew colorful kites in the sky.

“This place is beautiful,” Prarthana said, taking in the view of the endless ocean. “The perfect spot for some photos.”

Dev smiled and pulled her closer. “Good idea. We need some new memories from this trip.”

As they posed for pictures, Shubman and Ishan ran ahead to join Siraj and Arshdeep, who were already eyeing a group of people playing beach volleyball. Without a second thought, they jumped into the game, their competitiveness kicking in as they formed makeshift teams and started playing against the locals. Laughter echoed through the air as Ishan made a dramatic dive to save the ball but ended up face-first in the sand.

“Nice try, Ishan!” Arshdeep laughed, pulling him up.

“Hey, at least mein try kar rah hun yaar,” Ishan shot back, brushing off the sand. “Next point’s mine.”
