THE QUEEN stopped in her tracks, everyone following her every move

THE QUEEN stopped in her tracks, everyone following her every move. She took a deep breath, "We are here." Lucy looked up at the place she didn't recognise. Edmund gave her a little push so she would move along the rest of them, which made her snap out of her trance. Peter was beside Caspian, wondering about Pandora's life without him in it. He wanted to ask her about their daughter, and prince Baelon. However, she didn't look like she wanted to talk, least of all to him.

The centaurs aligned at each side of the path that lead inside, their swords forming a tunnel for the Pevensies to cross. Pandora placed her arm before Caspian, so the four siblings could walk before them. Lucy smiled as a young boy couldn't hold up his sword as tall as the rest. Once they were inside, the girls walked forward while Peter and Edmund stopped to marvel at the blacksmiths and others were preparing their weapons.

"It may not be what you are used to, but it is defensible." Caspian, who was with them alongside Pandora, said.

"Peter. You may want to see this." Susan called out from afar. Caspian and Pandora shared a knowing look, before the former left with the High King. Edmund stayed with Pandora for a few more seconds.

"Things haven't been the same without you." Pandora didn't reply, she didn't know what to say. So she just walked away with a sigh, Edmund following her with a saddened expression.

They reached a hallway, which walls were full of history. "It's us." Susan remarked.

"What is this place?" Lucy asked Pandora.

The blonde girl raised an eyebrow, "You haven't recognised it?" The little girl shook her head. Pandora nodded at Caspian, who grabbed a torch and started leading the way. The Queen caressed her hand slightly across the wall, with the four siblings behind her. Peter looked at her hand, taking notice of the blonde and dark haired duo that was forever frozen in stone. With the three boys carrying torches, they made their way towards a round room. Caspian lit it with his, surrounding the room with fire. Once it was visible an image of the lion, did Lucy know where she was.

She reached for the broken stone table, turning towards Susan, "He must know what he's doing." Pandora looked to the place she once killed her father at, shaking her head.

"He is of no use." Lucy glanced at Pandora with both shock and sadness, "He isn't the lion you once knew. None of us are as we once were."

The words were a shot to the heart to the humans, who had realised on the road just how much time she had spent without them. "I think it's up to us now." Peter told Lucy, and then they all looked at the only thing they had left of Aslan.

Peter didn't get to meet his daughter. He didn't get to see her laugh, to watch her fall and get up again. He never danced with her. He didn't see her eat, drink and sleep. He never got to see her riding Regulus. He never saw her shapeshifting into any animal she could think of.  But here, in this walls, he could see what she made of her life. He realised that many times, she was drawn dancing. And that more often than not, she was with her mother, Lycaon, or who he guessed to be prince Baelon. He saw her on the throne, on the council. He saw drawings of animals and he just knew it was her. But he never got to see her.
