fighting, slight gore idk
•*+,+*•Having packed my wound with bandages stored in my pockets, my back now only lets out the occasional throb, my head feeling quite light as I swing through the air. On the way out of the conflagration zone, I'd come across Ojiro, also alone and fighting villains. Having a slight boost of confidence from my earlier victory, and seeing how hard he was fighting, I immediately joined him, and we took out as many villains as we could before the remaining few fled.
Now, I've gathered light around our ankles and wrists, gritting my teeth in concentration to propel us through the air and back to the steps we were on before the separation. Ojiro yells a thanks, and encourages me to keep my focus up as we go, his tired voice snatched away by the wind almost as soon as he speaks up.
I look over to him for a fraction of a second, at his smooth skin streaked in soot, and grazes all over, his hair windswept as we fly. I flash a quick grin, then slowing our trajectory.
A sharp tweak in my skull causes me to cry out in pain, and I lose grip on my quirk for just a moment, before remembering myself. We lurch downwards before I hold my light up once more.
"Sorry!" I say in a panicked voice, but Ojiro raises a shaky, placating hand.
As we pass by the central plaza, I notice Midoriya, Tsu and Mineta crouched in the water from the flood zone. They haven't noticed yet, but the villains have seen them. For a moment, I glance between Ojiro and the three below helplessly, before gritting my teeth and sending Ojiro flying towards the steps where some of our other classmates are waiting. He lets out a shocked yell, but lands safely with the others.
With the monstrous creature grabbing Midoriya, about to pulverize him, and the blue-haired hand villain about to use his quirk on Tsu and Mineta, my body reacts before I have time to think. Streams of light burst out of my skin, stinging as more and more unravels, and I pull all three of my classmates up and back, far away from danger.
They all yell as I wrench them away, and I lose control over my light; it rips free from my skin and dissipates, leaving the four of us to tumble to the ground in a heap. I land on Midoriya's boot, and feel the cut on my back re-open as the bandages are pushed off. The wind is also knocked out of me, and I lie on my back, heaving for breath.
"Sayuri!!" The three chorus, and the most I can manage is a smile and thumbs-up.
Tsu notices blood staining the ground under me as I sit upright, and she holds my shoulder steady. My head spins, my skull feeling tight as I move.
"Are you alright ribbit?"
"Oh no, you're bleeding!!" Midoriya pipes up.
I roll my eyes playfully, "Hadn't noticed."
He looks down sheepishly, and I feel a little bad for my sarcastic comment, "Kidding Midoriya... are you guys all okay?"
"Yeah, thanks for saving us back there, we would've been toast if you didn't." Tsu says.
"Yeah, thank you!"
"Thanks Sayuri."
I smile at all three, "you don't need to thank me."
I turn my attention back to the villains, who've only just clocked where we'd gone, starting to head over, when an echoing crash noise pulls everyone's attention up to the broken-down exit door. Hope surges through me at the familiar, large figure emerging towards us.
"Have no fear students. I AM HERE."
All four of us cheer as All Might approaches, but I can't help but notice the lack of his usual beaming smile, and feel as though something is terribly wrong.
