Jus POV

I'm currently sitting in my seat, staring blankly ahead while listening to our teacher's lecture. I'm incredibly bored, but I have no choice but to stay put and listen because it affects my grades.

If only Princess were here.

"Excuse me, ma'am."

Our attention was drawn to the door as someone spoke. My eyes lit up instantly when I recognized who it was. It was Maya, standing before our teacher, talking to her.

"Wow, Sec. Maya is truly beautiful, she hasn't faded at all. I'm just bummed because she's graduating," whispered one of my classmates, gazing at Maya with a smile.

"You're right, bro. Her appeal is strong. Just wait for Valentine's Day, I'll shower her with a giant teddy bear and chocolate," another whispered.

"Ahh, okay," she turned to the students. "Miss Robles, you can leave now. You have a meeting, apparently," said our teacher.

I smiled before grabbing my bag. "Yes, ma'am, thank you," I said before running towards Maya. "Thank you, Ate Maya. You saved me from this boring class," I whispered to Ate Maya, she's older than me so I call her Ate.

"Oh, you should thank Gian," she said before linking her arm with mine. "He has even better news besides this," she whispered to me, smiling. "We'll find out when we get there," she exclaimed, pulling me along.

"Hurry up and walk," she said before starting to run.

I just ran along so she wouldn't nag me. When we reached the office, we didn't even knock. We walked in only to find Kian and the others sitting in their assigned seats, while Pres was speaking in the middle. Pres paused for a moment before looking at us.

"Late," she said pointedly before gesturing for us to sit down.

Maya and I had no choice but to sit down. I hung my head because of Pres's intense stare. She's really grumpy.

"Why are you late?" Princess whispered to me, her attention still on Pres.

"Ma'am wouldn't stop talking," I whispered back before raising my head to listen to what Pres was saying.

"You're so unlucky, you must have a thick skin," she replied before chuckling softly.

My brow furrowed at her words, but I didn't respond. I didn't want to get scolded by Pres if I did.

"Okay, so I have something to tell you all."

Pres didn't get to finish her sentence when Maya and Shane suddenly squealed. Our attention shifted to them, and they seemed to notice, so they quickly fell silent.

"Can I continue?" Pres asked, her gaze sharp as she looked at the two. "So, back to the topic, I have good news for you all. Remember the camping trip we discussed the other day? I just spoke to the head of the school about it, and he agreed to make it happen."

Because of her words, almost all of us shouted in excitement. We've been planning this for a long time, and now it's finally happening.

"Good thing you convinced him, love. You're amazing," Kian said, giving her a thumbs up.

"Okay, okay, please settle down. I'm not finished yet," she said, causing us to quiet down. "So, because of a little bit of persuasion, the head agreed to our suggestion. But this isn't just any ordinary camping trip, our P.E grades depend on it, meaning this camping trip is graded."

"What? That takes away the thrill," Princess whined, pouting. She's so cute.

"I'm not done yet," Pres said pointedly before letting out a sigh. "Okay, no one else is going to speak. You're probably wondering why our P.E is involved. The head didn't want to go through with the plan unless there was a learning aspect to it. So, as student council president, I gave some suggestions, and one of them was to include this camping trip as a performance task for our P.E." she began.
