As the time ticked by, I received the news I'd been eagerly awaiting – I'd excelled in my exams. Elated, I looked forward to the remaining tests, determined to maintain my momentum.

But amidst the celebration, my thoughts remained with my mum, still in a coma. I clung to hope, believing in miracles.

"I wish Mum could wake up someday and tell me what happened,"

I whispered to myself, tears welling up.

My friends, sensing my emotional turmoil, rallied around me. They prepared a heartfelt surprise package, filled with thoughtful gestures and uplifting messages.

Miss Faith, with a warm smile, handed me the gift.

"We're proud of you, and we're here for you."

Justina chimed in,

"You're not alone, dear. We'll get through this together."

I opened the package, revealing:

- A customized photo album filled with fond memories.
- A motivational book with inspiring stories.
- A handmade card with heartfelt messages.

Touched by their kindness, I fought back tears.

"Thank you, guys. You're the best."

Miss Faith hugged me tight.

"We're family, and families stick together."

As I hugged them back, I felt a surge of gratitude and love.

"You know, I was thinking,"

I said, smiling.

"Maybe Mum will wake up soon, and everything will go back to normal."

Justina nodded enthusiastically.

"I'm sure she will! Miracles happen."

I smiled, feeling hopeful.

In that moment, surrounded by love and support, I knew I could face whatever challenges lay ahead.

"Mum will wake up,"

I whispered, determination in my heart.

"And when she does, I'll be ready."

Mrs. Smith's eyes gleamed with satisfaction as she contemplated her plan. She had meticulously researched Elizabeth's background, aware of her father's tarnished reputation.

"But you're different, Elizabeth,"

She thought.

"Your AA genotype and good character make you perfect for bearing my grandchild."

Mrs. Smith dialed Sophia's number.

"Sophia, dear, I need to discuss something urgent with you,"

Mrs. Smith said, her voice laced with sweetness.

"What is it, Mrs. Smith?"

Sophia replied cautiously.

"I've decided that Elizabeth is the ideal candidate to bear my grandchild,"
