Sabrina's Pov

I walked out of the school back home today. Usually I would drive, but it was a nice day today so walking seemed better. As I stepped inside the house, I heard a guitar strumming and some humming coming from the living room. "High infidelity... put on your records and regret me! High infidelity... uh... oh! I bent the truth too far tonight, I was dancing around, dancing around it!" I chuckle at my mom and Y/n's cheers, knowing they must have just found a lyric. The song they were playing did sound nice, I will admit. I walked up to my room, setting my bag down and flopping onto my bed. Ugh, thank god there was no homework today. Although, I did have a soccer game tonight, so I can't stay in and chill.

I get changed into my light blue jersey and shorts, and walk downstairs to chill for a bit before I have to be there. I see my mom and Y/n playing and singing a bit. I stand behind a wall, just listening for a bit. Eventually Y/n starts to sing and play guitar without any background noise. Wow, her voice was truly angelic. It was smooth, and she rode through all the notes perfectly. Oh my god, was I really swooning over her fucking voice? God, mom is gonna kill me if she finds out I have a crush on one of her co-workers!

I take a breath and walk into the kitchen, acting as if I hadn't been standing there listening to her voice for the past five minutes. Mom's eyes go to me, and her smile widens. "Sabrina! We have great news!" I look over at the two, and smile back. "Oh yeah?" Y/n grins at me and mom continues. "We're halfway through the song we're writing and... Y/n is gonna be playing at a show tomorrow! For Outside Lands!" Whoa, could she get cooler? "Oh, actually? Thant's so cool, good luck Y/n!" She smiles and nods. "Thanks carpenter. Let's hope they like it. I'm gonna need some advice on what songs to play. And I know you're like, extremely obsessed with me and my music." I giggle and blush, rolling my eyes playfully. Although, it was becoming the truth. I listened to some of her songs last night to help me sleep. "Yeah, you wish."

"Sure, keep telling yourself that. Anyway, mom I'll see you later I have a soccer game." Y/n perks up at that and looks back at me. "Soccer game, huh? Can I come? Do you need a ride?" I laugh and nod at her. "Too many questions at once, Y/n, chill. Yes, you can come, and no, my friend is picking me up. Or, if you're coming she's picking us up." Y/n nods and sits up, walking over to me. "Cool. I need a break from lyricism. It's tiring." I laugh and pull her out the door, waving good bye to my Mom. "So, where is this friend of yours?" Y/n asks just as my friend turns the corner and pulls up to the house. "Hi Rowan!" I say, getting in the passenger seat. "Hi Sab! And... Y/n Y/l/n!? Sab!" Sabrina chuckles and I sit in the backseat, buckling the seat belt. "Yeah, I forgot to tell you about that. She's staying with us for a few days. Mom's writing a few songs with her." Rowan nods and we start driving back to the school for the game.

I'm not nervous, I never really am. I'm the best on the team and captain, so I'm pretty confident in my skills. We get to the field and I get out, running to my team. They greet me warmly and we start our warmups.

Y/n's Pov

As Sabrina runs out, I'm left in the car for a few minutes with Rowan while she finds a parking spot. "I never said, but it's nice to meet you." I said, and she smiled kindly at me. "You too! So, you're writing songs with Taylor now? Did I hear something about you playing at outside lands?" I chuckle and nod. "Yeah, I am actually. So, what do you do other than Uber for Sabrina? Obviously 5 stars though." She giggles as we park and step out of the car. "haha, thanks. I'm actually just a normal high school girl. Sabrina's the one who drives me to my volleyball games, so there's that." I nod, and we walk toward the field. We settle on the bleachers and chat for a bit before the game starts.

10 minutes in, I'm entirely engrossed in the game. Although, I'm not paying attention to the score, the calls, or anything but Sabrina. She looks amazing in her uniform, and when she's running across the field... whoa. I look closer and see the sweat making her shirt cling to her body, and her shorts are tiny and short, making my brain go a bit crazy. God, what is happening to me!? I blush a bit as she looks up at me and flashes a grin as we make eye contact. I smile back and she keeps playing, occasionally looking back at me. Once, she looks at me and gets hit in the face with a ball, causing her to tumble over and fall. My eyes go wide and I run down, but they won't let me past the gate that separates me from the field. It was only a few feet tall, and I could easily jump it but I don't wanna get her in trouble.

Rowan tugged me back to my seat and turned to me as we sat back down. "Y/n, just ask her out! She so likes you!" I blush, my brain short circuiting for a minute. "W-what? No, why would you say that? Why are you assuming that I like her too? And that she likes me?" She laughs and looks at me like I'm stupid. "Oh buddy, she definitely likes you." I blush again and look away. The game ends and I run down again. "Sab! You did so good!" I say, wrapping my arms around her as she runs to me. "haha, you think so? Thanks! You're really gonna hug me even when I'm all sweaty?" I nod and I think I see her pink cheeks get darker. "Of course, it's a good look on you." I smirk, remembering the feeling between my legs when I saw her sweaty.

She laughs and pulls away for a second, looking up at me. I don't know what happened, but I lost my words. I'm quite literally speechless as she looks at me with those beautiful crystal blue eyes. They sparkle in the setting suns light, and my breath catches in my throat. She places her hand against my chest, over my heart. I feel my heart speed up and my brain is now fried. Oh my god, she's still looking at me. Her lips part as if to say something, but I can't help myself. I lean down and quicker then ever I take her lips in mine. She gasps, but it's swallowed by my lips on hers. I think I must have made a huge mistake until I feel her kiss me back. She moves her hands from my chest to the back of my head and neck, pulling me closer. I wrap my arms around her waist, needing her closer to me.

We pull apart as we hear cheers and see a bunch of flashing lights from cameras. Shit, I forgot we were in public, my agent is gonna kill me! And Taylor... oh shit, Taylor is gonna hate me. I kissed her daughter! Forget the agent, Taylor will turn me to dust! Shit, shit , shit! I'm snapped away from my thoughts as a soft, warm hand tugs my head down, and my eyes are meant with Sabrina's glowing ones. "Did you just... you kissed me. Oh my god, you actually kissed me." I winced and squeeze my eyes shut. "I... I did. I'm sorry, I'll go if you want." She shakes her head vigorously and pulls me back to our previous position.

"No! I mean... no, please don't go. I liked it... and I was wondering if you could maybe do it again?"

I blink a few times at her statement. She liked me? I mean... I know I like her... but me? She could do so much better! "Are... are you sure?" I say, my eyes flickering down to her lips then grazing across her features. She's still a bit sweaty from the game, but her hair still looks perfect, and I can still make out her freckles under the light layer of makeup she has on. God, how is it possible for someone to be this gorgeous?

Instead of answering my question she tangles her hands in my hair and crashes our lips together again. I immediately reciprocate, tugging her closer by her ass, making her let out a little moan. I'm not gonna lie, that sound did something to me. She pulls away for air, taking my bottom lip between her teeth for a second. I blush and look back at the crowd in the stands that went from watching the soccer game to watching us. Creeps.

"Uh... so... you seem... happy about this." I say, and she giggles, nuzzling herself against my chest. "Yes, I am actually. ... Are you?" She looks at me and her perfect blue orbs are clouded with nervousness. "Of course, I've wanted to do that from the second I met you." She grins and pecks my lips once, twice, three times. I smile and we walk back to the car, Rowan following us singing; "Y/n and Sabrina, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G... first comes love, then comes marriage..." Sabrina cuts her off by throwing a death glare her way.

"So... I had a question for you." I say, looking at her as we step out of the car. "Yes?" she says. "Would you possibly, maybe, hypothetically, go on a date with me?" I ask, and she giggles and nods. "I would love to Ms. Y/l/n." I blush and hug her again. "Great... how about after my show tomorrow?" She nods and intertwines our hands.

"it's a date."
