K.I.D. enterprises...

A man swiveled his chair as a lady in cooperate attire stood before him with a schedule pad and pen in her hand. The man looked extremely handsome; he had raven black shoulder length hair and a pair of striking grey eyes. The aura that he emitted was so authoritative and cold that one would think twice before even speaking to him.

His secretary Vanessa was reading his afternoon schedule to him as she usually did every afternoon by 12:00, only that today she was doing it a bit late because his conference meeting came in the way.

"...demolishing the houses at Nestle streets by 5:00pm today...." She stated but was interrupted by the man.

"Make it 1:00pm next week Monday. Is my schedule free by that time?" His masculine voice that could send chills down anyone's spine spoke.

"N..no sir, you act ..ually have a photo-shoot by that time ". She stuttered, this man was scary

"Then postponed the photo-shoot" He ordered.

"But sir the manager..." She tried to explain.

"Speak to the manager and sort it out!". His tone laced with rage.

The secretary was about to speak when they heard a knock on the door.

"Can I come in Kyle?". They heard a warm masculine voice from behind the door.

"O..kay sir, I'll speak to the manager". Vanessa curtsied.

"Good, you may leave ". Kyle stated totally ignoring the person outside who was now knocking again.

Vanessa opened the door to leave the office when she almost bumped into the person outside. He had dark brown hair that he cut nicely and a pair of grey eyes.

"Good day sir". She kowtowed and the man nodded with a smile, he wasn't as scary as Kyle.

The man strolled in with a smile which abruptly faded the moment he saw the dagger-like glares Kyle threw at him, he immediately raised his hands up as though he was surrendering before he took a seat opposite Kyle.

"Did I say you could come in?". Kyle asked him indifferently and the man sighed.

"Well you didn't say I couldn't ". The man grinned, and Kyle only glared at him.

"I heard about your new project, you're planning on building a new hotel at Nestle Street?" The man asked more like a statement than a question, but Kyle ignored him.

"That's all good, but demolishing those houses is kind of extreme, don't you think?. I mean people live there and would lose their homes". The man continued.

"I will compensate them". Kyle emotionlessly answered.

"But still, it's still their homes, shouldn't you seek their permission first?". The man tried to reason with him and Kyle scoffed.

"I don't take permissions". Kyle scowled at the man.

''Don't be ridiculous'' He said

Kyle ignored him.

"I have a feeling you might regret this". The man insisted

"I don't regret".

"But..."

"Stop bothering me Kayson". Kyle clenched his teeth and Kayson knew he had reached his limit, he made a zipping sign on his lips with his hand, and he was done speaking about this.

....At Valerie's.......

Valerie woke to her alarm ringing loudly; she groaned and snoozed it before closing her eyes to sleep again. The sun was already out, but she couldn't tell as the curtain was closed.

RING!! RING!! RING!! Her alarm went off the second time and she snoozed it again, she wanted more sleep. After doing that for about 5 times, the alarm went off again, she groaned attempting to snooze it again when her gaze fell on the wall clock, it was 7:50am, no she can't be late again, and why didn't her grandma wake her.

She quickly swung out of bed and rushed to the shower room to take a quick bath. After her bath, she wore a simple azure crop top that matched her eyes, with a pair of baggy jeans and sneakers.

She rushed to the kitchen where her grandma was making breakfast as usual.

"Good morning grandma". She hugged Jade.

"Good morning mi vida!" Jade kissed her cheek.

Jade smiled and Valerie quickly headed for the door.

"Won't you have breakfast?" Her grandmother walked towards her.

"No grandma, I'll pass I'm already late for school".

"I knew you'd say that, that's why I already packed your food". Her grandma said as she went to the kitchen and picked a lunch box from the counter.

"Here, make sure to eat and to wake up early next time". She handed Valerie the lunch box.

"But you should have woken me up grandma". Valerie happily took the lunch box from her.

"I've been waking you up since kindergarten and you still can't wake up early?" Jade teased her and Valerie pouted her lips.

"That's because I can't do any without you grandma". Valerie chuckled before waving her grandma goodbye, and her grandma waved back with a wide smile.

Valerie got to college, luckily, she was not late today, and she couldn't see Simone or Natasha. She strolled to the school hall, but they weren't there, she should phone them.

A guy named Nathan passed by, he wasn't in her department but they were acquainted.

"Uhm Hi Nathan" She smiled

"Hi val, what's up?" He smiled back

"Uhm I'm actually looking for Simone and Tasha, have you seen them?". She inquired.

"Oh I actually saw them heading to the library a few minutes ago". He relayed to her.

"Okay thanks!" She thanked him, before heading to the school library.

On her way she bumped into Tiffany and Emily, the most annoying and spoilt brats she had ever seen, they never miss a chance to bully others.
