After a long day, Jungkook logged off his tablet and returned it, saying goodnight to Dr. Yoo and heading towards Taehyung's room.

"Hey, Taehyung," Jungkook called lightly after sitting on the edge of his bed. "Hey, baby," he said, smiling as Taehyung pulled the covers down from over his face and blinked slowly at him. "I have a question for you, my love."

"Mm?" he hummed, eyes blinking slowly as he opened his sleepy arms to Jungkook, attempting to beckon him to lie down.

"I can't now, baby, but I wanted to know if you would mind Sohee coming over tomorrow? She's going to be alone for Thanksgiving and she's become a good friend of mine, so I don't want her to be alone. Plus, she could give me a hand in cooking," Jungkook asked, then explained.

"Sohee?" Taehyung questioned, groggily.

"Yes, she's a DO who works here," he replied, running fingers through Taehyung's bedhead, smiling at him as he looked into his big, glassy eyes.

"Do I know her?"

"I'm not sure," Jungkook considered. "She knows who you are, and knows that we're close, so it won't be a weird or shocking thing for her to see us together."

"Does she know we're partners?" Taehyung asked, yawning before turning his head and nuzzling against Jungkook's thigh.

"I think she does, but I've haven't said anything to her clearly one way or the other," Jungkook explained. "If she does know, she's okay with it," he added, warm palm gently cupping Taehyung's cheek, his thumb sweeping over the top of it. "What do you say, baby?"

Taehyung nodded, yawning again before stretching. "If you want to it's okay with me," he started, flopping onto his back and looking at the ceiling. "I don't mind."

Jungkook's mouth stretched into a wide grin, a hand ruffling Taehyung's already messy hair, "thanks, my love. I'll let her know, and in the morning, I'll pick the both of you up," he told him, bending down to give him the quickest kiss on the forehead. "I'm sorry for waking you. Sleep well," he finished, blowing him a kiss from the door, which Taehyung pretended to catch in his empty hand, putting it over his mouth with an adorable om nom nom sound.

He's perfect, Jungkook thought with an almost painful amount of fondness in his heart as he left the facility.

"Good morning!" Sohee greeted happily when Jungkook entered the rehab lobby. "Taehyung and I were waiting for you patiently," she added, giving Taehyung a smile, the breath stolen from Jungkook when he saw the man return it. "He's quite a character, I can see why you like him."

Jungkook's cheeks flushed at the comment, a nervous laugh breaking from his throat. "He is a character, you're right. And I do like him," he began, eyes meeting Taehyung's with adoration, "so much."

"Let's get going, then," Sohee started, standing up and waiting for Taehyung to do the same. "Have you got all the things you need to cook? There might be a market or two still open."

"I think I have everything, but I'm not sure," Jungkook admitted, leading Taehyung and Sohee to his car. "When we get there you can take a look and if we need anything else, we can run to the store."

"Sounds good," she commented, giving the resident a quick squeeze before getting into the back seat.

Taehyung got in, buckling his seat belt as he carried his three familiar items: his notebook, his blanket, and Florizel.

After arriving to the apartment and going through his refrigerator and pantry, Sohee seemed pleased with what he had gotten. "I'd have told you we were going to get some instant stuff if I didn't see you had packed your cabinets with them," she laughed, giving him a big smile, eyes crinkling in the corners. "Sometimes saving time can be just as tasty," she added, removing packages of instant sides, "the nutritional value might suffer, but it's Thanksgiving, we can make up for it later."
