It had been a long day for Taylor, and she was feeling weaker than usual. The exhaustion hit her harder now, leaving her too drained to even manage her usual routine. After they got back from a long press event, she collapsed onto the couch in her hotel room, her limbs heavy, her body aching in that familiar way that made her want to just curl up and disappear. Travis, always attuned to her, noticed immediately and gave her a soft smile.

"You need to set up your feed?" he asked, already knowing the answer.

Taylor gave a small nod, her cheeks already turning pink. "Yeah... I'm too tired."

Travis nodded, moving around the room to grab everything he needed. Setting up Taylor's feeding tube had become second nature to him by now, but Taylor always got embarrassed whenever he had to help. She pulled a blanket up over herself, trying to hide the tubing port under layers of fabric as if that would somehow make the whole situation less awkward.

Just then, Tree Paine walked in, still on her phone and in work mode, completely unaware of the delicate situation unfolding. "Okay, Tay, I've rescheduled your interview for next week—wait, what's going on here?"

Taylor tensed up immediately, clutching the blanket tighter around her, making herself look like a human burrito. She felt her face burning with embarrassment. Travis, standing there with the feeding tube supplies in hand, looked up and gave Tree a casual grin, as if this was the most normal thing in the world.

"Oh, hey, Tree. Just setting up Taylor's feed," he said nonchalantly.

Tree blinked, completely confused. "Her what?"

"Tube feed," Travis clarified, gesturing to Taylor's abdomen. "She's got a feeding tube."

Taylor groaned, burying her face in the blanket even more, wishing she could disappear into the couch. "Oh my God, Travis," she muttered, mortified.

Tree looked between the two of them, eyes widening. "Wait, Taylor... you're tube-fed?"

Taylor nodded slightly, peeking out from behind her blanket fortress. "Yeah... surprise?" She tried to smile, but the embarrassment was overwhelming.

Travis, ever the supportive (but slightly teasing) boyfriend, stepped closer and looked down at Taylor, who was still trying to hide under the blanket. He sighed dramatically, shaking his head with a playful grin.

"Tay, I can't connect your feed if you're gonna keep hiding under that blanket," he teased, tugging at the edges of it.

Taylor pulled the blanket tighter, glaring up at him. "I'm not hiding," she mumbled. "I'm just... cold."

"Right," Travis said with a smirk, obviously not buying it. "Cold. Sure."

Tree stood there, wide-eyed, still trying to process everything. "You've been doing this the whole time?" she asked, genuinely curious.

"Yup," Travis said cheerfully. "She's got me trained like a pro. I could start my own travel nurse business at this rate."

Taylor groaned again, her face heating up even more. "Travis, stop."

But Travis was having too much fun with this. He gently tried to pull the blanket down again, but Taylor, stubborn as ever, held onto it for dear life. "Tay, come on. You know I need to connect the tube. You've done this a hundred times."

"No," Taylor muttered, pulling the blanket back up. "I'm embarrassed."

Travis sighed, giving Tree a glance that clearly said 'this happens all the time'. "Okay, Tay, if you don't let go, I'm gonna have to force it out of your hands."

Taylor's eyes narrowed at him, half-serious, half-joking. "You wouldn't."

Without missing a beat, Travis reached down and tugged on the blanket, and suddenly, they were in a full-on, playful wrestling match. Taylor clung to the blanket like her life depended on it, while Travis, gently but determined, tried to wrestle it away from her.

"Oh my God, stop!" Taylor squealed, giggling despite herself. "Travis, I swear—"

"I just need like three inches of your stomach, Tay, come on!" Travis said, laughing as he finally managed to pull the blanket down just enough to access the port.

Tree stood off to the side, watching the whole thing unfold with an amused, slightly bewildered expression. "You two are ridiculous," she muttered, shaking her head.

Finally, Travis got the blanket out of the way, leaving Taylor's feeding port exposed. He crouched down next to her, hooking up the tube with expert hands. "There we go. That wasn't so bad, was it?"

Taylor huffed, crossing her arms over her chest and looking away. "I hate you."

"No, you don't," Travis said with a grin, leaning over to give her a quick kiss on the cheek. "You love me because I take care of you, even when you're being stubborn."

Taylor couldn't help but smile, despite her embarrassment. "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

Tree, still watching in mild awe, finally spoke up. "I had no idea you were going through all of this, Taylor. Why didn't you say something?"

Taylor shrugged, her face still flushed. "I don't know... It's just not something I like talking about. It's embarrassing."

Tree's expression softened, and she walked over, giving Taylor's arm a gentle squeeze. "You don't have to be embarrassed, Tay. We're here to help you, okay?"

Taylor nodded, glancing up at both Tree and Travis. "Thanks, guys."

As Travis finished connecting the tube and making sure everything was in place, he stood up, giving Taylor an exaggerated bow. "And now, my work here is done."

Taylor threw a pillow at him, laughing. "You're such a dork."

"Yeah, but I'm your dork," Travis replied with a wink, before plopping down on the couch next to her.

Taylor leaned her head on his shoulder, finally feeling a little more at ease. Even though moments like this were awkward and uncomfortable, she knew she was lucky to have people like Travis and Tree in her life—people who would support her no matter what. Even if it involved the occasional blanket wrestling match.
