Saori, age 14...

Saori sat casually atop a pile of girls she had just beaten up in the school courtyard, her expression cold as she stared down at them. The leader of the group, a popular girl with perfectly styled hair and a trembling lip, was beneath her foot.

Saori stared down at them mockingly: You know what really annoys me? Girls like you. Pretty, popular, thinking you're so privileged. Like anyone who doesn't meet your 'standards' deserves your cruelty. And you thought I'd want to be part of your group?

The girl whimpered, trying to look away.

Girl #1 stammering: W-We're sorry! We didn't mean to—

Saori pressed her foot harder into the girl's face, her voice filled with disgust.

Saori: You disgust me.

Later...

In the principal's office, the atmosphere was tense. The principal, Ms. Christen, sat across from Satoru, who lounged comfortably in the chair with his signature carefree grin.

Principal sighed: Saori is a smart and talented girl. She excels in academics, even sports, but... she's had trouble getting along with other students. The girls she beat up today—well, witnesses said they ganged up on her first, but it doesn't change the fact that she left them in pretty bad shape. This is her second offence, and they all had to be sent to the infirmary.

Satoru listened, his expression thoughtful, though there was a faint, charming smile still playing on his lips.

Satoru: I see. I'm sorry for my sister's behaviour. I'll definitely talk to her. But, surely, there's something you could do to help with this situation, Ms. Christen, was it? I heard this school is planning to build a new auditorium.

Ms. Christen blushed slightly at his smooth demeanor, caught off guard.

Principal was flustered: W-Well, we'll overlook expulsion this time. But she'll have to do community service. However, Mr. Gojo, if this continues, I would suggest Saori be transferred to another school that might better suit her... talents.

Satoru grinned, clearly unbothered.

Satoru: I'll keep that in mind.

As Satoru rose to leave the office, Ms. Christen called out to him.

Principal: Mr. Gojo!

Satoru turned, flashing his usual charismatic smile.

Satoru: Please, call me Satoru.

The principal blushed deeper, hesitating before handing him a small slip of paper.

Principal: This is my number... Maybe next time you're in town, we could... have coffee?

Satoru took the paper with a playful grin.

On the way home...

Inside the car, the atmosphere between Satoru and Saori was quiet but heavy with unspoken tension. Satoru glanced at her from the driver's seat, his usually easy going demeanor replaced with something more serious.

Satoru sighed: Saori, I know those girls were out of line, but you can't keep picking on people weaker than you. You're lucky none of them got seriously hurt.

Saori crossed her arms and scoffed, staring out the window.

Saori: Who would be dumb enough to pick on the strong? Oh, right... they did.

Satoru blinked, slightly taken aback by her answer. It reminded him of himself when he was younger—headstrong, confident, and a little reckless. Things were easier when Saori was still a child, but now... he could sense her frustration growing as she got older.
