Chapter Twenty - The End 

NOVA could have screamed; her eyes darting around the now empty bedroom "Fucking hell Isabella" She rushed around as she woke Charlie up with a slap on his foot, "Charlie get up! Bella's gone" Charlie shot up, his eyes wide as he grumbled. 

"Where?" he demanded and Nova looked to Carlisle, Carlisle then put his phone to his ear and asked Alice.  

"Abandoned building on 6th and Main" the mini vampire commented, Nova felt sick, the past fifteen years had come back to bite her, was this another war? Carlisle had taken her arm stroked right down from her elbow to her hand and stroked her knuckles; He was working for his mate... what did this human do to his love and his family?

"I need to go" Charlie was pacing his hand through his hair. 

"No" Nova stated pretty quickly, "Those people don't believe in No Maj police ...you'll just get yourself killed" 

"I can't sit and do nothing Nova" Nova sighed, Before joining him near the door. 

"I promise you" Nova grasped his hand in her own "I will get Bella, she will be okay" Carlisle had looked pained as she said this; she gave a hug to Charlie before making her way to Carlisle "Make sure he doesn't leave" She ordered him and she gave a small peck on his cheek. Carlisle knew he couldn't do anything, his hands were tied; Alice was talking down the phone but he didn't register what she was saying and Nova nodded to both the men in her life before disappearing with a small pop.

The building was dark, dusty, and run down. Rats squeaked as Nova appeared as if she had bounced from the ground; her eyes adjusting quickly to the darkness; the half-moon shone brightly through the cracked high windows. Dust covered the floor and graffiti coated the walls. Drug paraphilia was scattered and sown carelessly across the rubbish, her foot cracked on old newspapers and the sounds of her footsteps echoed around the darkened building. 

Nova didn't dare make a sound as she hurried across the large room, entering through a broken door, it had been forced open with part of the door frame still attached to the actual door and the metal door itself was bent at an unnatural angle. 

Nova climbed through, the lights flickered and the majority didn't work however Nova could see clearer now, The hall was a lot cleaner than the main part of the building, there seemed to be a row of abandoned offices down the bottom of the hall and on Nova's left was a large room, it was empty except for a few broken mirrors that were still attached to the wall, large Pillars held the upper floors and Nova looked twice as she spotted a small lump curled up on the floor- her long brown hair messy and Nova as she approached could see blood had been spilt. 

"Bella" Nova called worriedly her voice quivering as she slid to her knees; Bella was breathing but she was unconscious; it had taken a while for her to wake which the teen did with a pain-filled groan. 

"Nova?" She replied softly "Nova you have to leave"  Nova was confused at Bella's panicked state. 

"What?" she asked Bella glanced at her wide as she eyed the witch. 

"It's all a trap" the teen remarked "a trap for him" Bella looked behind Nova and Nova followed suit, her eyes widening as a shadow loomed over the door frame; Tall dark and very familiar to Nova. 

"I'm sorry were you expecting him?" Lucius Malfoy held in his pale hand the decapitated head of the vampire James.  "You see, Vampires are good company and all - but this one was a real arsehole"
