Chapter 2 Graveyard is in our heart

SHE woke up by a slight shake in her shoulder. Nang idilat nya ang mata nya ay bumungad sa kanya ang nakangiting si Erica.

“Wake up. We don't want to be late.” Saad nito habang ramdam nya ang kamay nito sa pisngi nya at hinahaplos iyun.

Hindi na niya na malayang nakauwi na pala si Erica. She was tired last night and it was because of Sabrina. Hindi din nya alam kung bakit pero sa tuwing naaalala nya ang interaksyon nya sa babaeng iyon ay pakiramdam nya napapagod sya. Na para bang pinag linis sya ng buong dorm nila.

Dahan dahan syang bumangon at parang zombie na nagtungo sa cabinet nya para kunin ang uniform nya at mag handa sa paliligo.

“Are you okay?” Rinig nyang Saad ni Erica but Nancy just Absentmindedly shook her head while she's facing the ground. She felt numb all of the sudden.

Ramdam niya ang paglapit ni Erica sa kanya pero sa kung anong dahilan ay di nya maigalaw ang katawan nya para harapin ang kaibigan.

“What happened?” Handa ba syang sabihin sa kaibigan nya ang tungkol sa nangyari? Oo at di nga sya lumabas ng kwarto nila buong maghapon kahapon pero hindi n'ya maipaliwanag ang pagod na nararamdaman nya.

“I went to the dining area before I woke you up and Majesty Alvarez was looking for you.” Majesty? Alvarez? Sabrina's mother? Is Sabrina one of the highest in this academy?

Mas lalong nagulo ang utak niya ng marinig niya ang apelyido na yun with the Majesty word before it.

“Maliligo na ko.” Tanging saad nya at pinilit ang sariling kumilos dahil ayaw niyang mapatayo sa Hallway ng buong isang oras.

She could feel Erica's eyes staring at her back. Hindi niya alam kung sasabihin niya ba dito ang nangyari o mananahimik na lang pero naalala nya kasi kung gaano ito nagdadalawang isip na umuwi noong sabado dahil lang sa pag aalala sa kanya.

Hayts bahala na. Sasabihin ko na lang siguro.

Mabilis niyang tinapos ang paliligo nya at sinuot na ang uniform. It's a black and elegant pair of blouse. She loves this uniform because it suits her well. Kuhang kuha ng uniform na to ang hubog ng katawan nya.

She looked at Erica when she noticed her standing by her side. “What?” she asks but using her cute voice and almost smiling.

“Anong nangyari sa Nancy Swift na di nakikipag usap sa iba?” She was confused by Erica's question but she managed to just smile while combing her hair.

“What do you mean?” Tanong nya at ngayon ay sinusuot na ang school heels nya. It has 2 inch heels and It's black too.

“Why is Majesty Alvarez looking for you?” Who the hell is Majesty Alvarez? Ilan ba ang Alvarez sa academy na to? Naiinis na syang marinig ang apelyido ng babaeng yun.

“I don't know. Who the hell is Majesty Alvarez?” Tanong niya habang inaayos ang pagkakasuot ng heels nya.

“Sabrina Alvarez. The queen of 4 schools under Halo Academy.” She was too stunned to speak. Even though Hindi nya naiintindihan ang ibig sabihin ni Erica ay hindi din sya makapaniwala sa narinig nya.

Mabilis niyang kinuha ang bag nya at nag patiuna sa paglalakad dito. Hindi nya alam kung may dapat ba syang sabihin o wala pero queen of 4 school under Halo? Sa loob ng 9 years mahigit na nandito sya sa academy na to ganun din ba kadami ang di nya alam sa school na to?

“Nancy?!” Itinakip nya ang buhok nya sa tenga nya ng makita ang mga tao sa hallway na nag mamadali din gaya nila.

“I didn't know who she was. She entered our room and—” She bit her lips as the thought of Sabrina kissing her came back to her mind. That was fucking embarrassing.

“And what? Diba nag promise kang sasabihin mo pag may nangyari? What happened to that promise?” Huminto si Nancy sa kalagitnaan ng hagdan para harapin si Erica.

“I didn't know what to say. I feel so stupid about what happened too and that is not me. I didn't even know that this academy had 4 schools.” she almost whispers while being aware of people around them.

Erica places her arms around Nancy's shoulder then walks down the staircase. “What happened after she entered our room?” Halos pabulong na saad nito habang naglalakad sila pa baba ng hagdan.

Marahas syang napalunok ng maalalang muli kung paano dumampi ang labi ni Sabrina sa mga labi nya. She shouldn't think about that. That was nothing. It's your first kiss. Fuck it is really her first kiss.

She looks at Erica and stops while her tears are building inside her eyes.

“Why? Nancy! Pinapakaba mo ko. Bakit?” Halata sa boses nito ang pag aalala. Dapat ba nyang sabihin o dapat niyang itikom ang bibig nya para walang makaalam ng nangyari?

Nabalik si Nancy sa ulirat nya ng biglang tumunog ang bell hudyat na mag uumpisa na ang klase. Save by the bell? No. She still need to decide kung sasabihin ba niya o hindi kay Erica ang buong nangyari.

“Pag usapan natin mamaya.” Mahinahong Saad ni Erica at saka mabilis na tumakbo habang hawak nito ang kamay nya.

Erica was a 4th year student while she was a 3rd year student. Nasa first floor ng Hailsmith Castle ang room nito habang siya ay nasa Second Floor. The first year Students were on the fourth floor and the second year students were on the third floor.

Alam nya ang bawat patakaran sa Hailsmith Castle and dorm pero never syang maging curious about sa story ng Halo Academy. She never realized until now that Halo has 4 schools and one queen. She thought the Princess is the highest officer in this school until Erica says there's a queen.

Nang makarating sya sa class room nila ay agad nyang inayos ang mga kakailanganin nya para sa first subject. She always sat at the back of the room to ensure that no one would disturb her while she was trying to focus.

Nang masiguradong lahat ay maayos na saka sya naupo at nag antay ng unang subject nya. She's looking forward for her Literature kaya lagi nyang sinisiguradong hindi masasayang ang bawat oras nya habang nasa room sya.

“They still can't find her.” Rinig nyang bulungan ng mga nasa harapan nya.

“She was in the dining room earlier this morning. How come they can't find her now?” Nagbubulungan ba talaga to? Rinig na rinig nya naman ang pag uusap nila kunyare pa bumulong.

“Apparently they have a meeting regarding the upcoming event this Friday. Her Majesty surely is the naughtiest queen we ever had. Imagine lagi syang nawawala pag may gathering ang buong Halo Academy Officer.” Saad ng isang babaeng may malanding tono na nag pa gas gas ng tenga nya.

Are they talking about Sabrina? Ano namang pake nya kung pinag uusapan ng mga ito si Sabrina? Pero nasan ba tong babaeng to? Ee ano ba namang pakealam nya kung nasan si Sabrina?

Nancy shake her head and open the book on her desk para mawala ang argumento nya sa sarili nya. Wala dapat syang pakealam sa babaeng yun kaya hindi nya dapat pakinggan ang sinasabi ng utak nya.

After all of her Subject for this morning nauna syang lumabas at pumunta sa canteen ng Hailsmith Castle para kumuha ng kakainin nya at dun nya balak kumain sa Likod ng dorm dahil hindi talaga payapa ang utak nya ngayon.

“Calling for the attention of Nancy Swift. We need you at the office. Again. Nancy Swift, we need you at the office. Thank you.” Iritableng bumuntong hininga sya at nginitian ang babaeng nasa likod ng Pinag kukuhanan nila ng pagkain bago inilapag ang tray nya at tumalikod.

Mukhang di muna sya kakain ngayong araw. Letcheng buhay to. Habang nag lalakad ay nakasalubong nya si Erica dahil nasa first floor ang Canteen nila. Kasama nito ang mga kaibigan nito sa classroom nito kaya hindi nya inaasahang papansinin sya nito.

“Kuha kita ng pagkain?” As if on cue na saad ni Erica nang malapit na sila sa isa't isa. Nginitian nya ito at tinanguan lang. Tumango lang din si Erica at nag patuloy sa pakikipag usap sa mga kasama nya.

Nancy sighs again before stepping forward. She don't know what she did para ipatawag sa office pero sige na lang. Wala din naman syang magagawa.

Nang makarating si Nancy sa isang malaking pinto sa kadulo-duluhan ng hallway dito sa first floor ay kumatok muna sya ng tatlong beses bago pumasok dito.

“Here she goes.” Nakangiting Saad ng babaeng nakaupo sa malaking swivel chair na nasa dulo ng kwarto.

“My niece. How are you?” Saad nito. Yeah her Aunt is working here as a principal but they promise to each other na hindi malalaman ng kahit sino na tita nya ang principal. Ayaw nyang dumami ang taong lalapit at makikipag kaibigan sakanya dahil sa Tita nya.

Naupo sya sa upuang nasa harap ng desk nito at tinignan ang paligid ng kwarto. This is huge. Hindi na sya namamangha dahil once a month talaga sya pinapapunta dito ng tita nya. Ang kinagulat nya lang ay pangalawang beses na to sa isang buwan.

“Your parents called and they didn't seem to reach out to you. Why my niece?” She rolled her eyes and she's not afraid to do that in front of her principal and Aunt.

“Cause I don't wanna be reached out?” she said full of sarcasm in her voice while staring at her Aunt's face.

“And where's the phone they gave you last month?” Her Aunt voice was soft yet her authoritative tone can't hide that.

“I throw it.” The sarcasm in her voice didn't fade away as she spoke. She saw how her Aunt's face became disappointed and mixed with anger and irritation in it.

“Why? Why did you throw that phone away?” Same question that has the same answer. She looks at her Aunt as if she's saying seriously?

“As I said I don't wanna be reached out.” She said and didn't even hide the annoyance in her voice.

Hindi nya tinapon ang Cellphone na yun. Inilibing nya yun sa gitna ng dalawang puntod sa likod ng dorm nila.

“Did you know that was the newest model? Why in the name of all saints you throw that phone away?” Sa pag kakataong ito ay nakatayo na ang tita nya habang nakatingin sakanya at nanlalaki ang nga mata sa galit.

“I don't need that stuff from them or from anyone. That shit can make me stupid. Tapping on it everyday, connecting with people outside that have a tiny brain. No I won't be like that.” She explained and never let her eyes off of her Aunt.

“Your mother brought that for you because they want you to update them about your life and your study.” Sumandal si Nancy sa likod ng inuupuan nya habang magkatitigan sila ng tita nya. Fire to fire.

“For what? To control my life? To hurt me even more? Do you already forget how I cried and begged them not to leave me here 9 years ago? How did I run before their them just to let them know I needed them? You were there, Aunt Silvia. You're the only one who witnessed how I drowned in pain when they left me here. I was 5. Taking care of myself. Holding only a book in my hands. Starved myself to death para lang sunduin ako. You were there when I tried to go home for the first time in 2 years because I wanted them to know all of my achievements but they closed the door in front of me—”

“They were busy out of town that time—”

“Yeah! It's the same thing! They never give time for me, they only care about their business and have zero time for their own daughter! It's more likely they shut the fucking door in front of me and smash my face on it!” kasabay ng bawat pag sigaw nya ang pag tayo at pag hampas nya ng malakas sa lamesa ng Aunt nya. It's better to hurt herself than to cry in front of her Aunt just because of her Parents.

“9 years. I learned to stand by my own feet. Holding books, paper, and pen in my hands. And now that I can hold a knife they wanted an update from me? They wanted to hear something from me? What if I stabbed them using the knife in my bare hand? They never think of that? I would gladly hurt them more than they hurt me if I got a chance so they must continue running away from me as they did 9 years ago.” Saad nya pa habang ang tita nya ay nakatitig sakanya at parang di makapaniwala sa mga naririnig nito mula sakanya.

“The only thing that connects me with them is my financial needs to finish my study.” She hated to admit that but she doesn't have anything in this Academy. There's no available job here that can support her study.

“You really grew up more than we could think.” Nancy smirks at what she heard. They didn't even know how things would change in her life. That's why they could say those things to her.

“But I never realized that you can go against your parents like this.” Aunt Silvia said while taking a seat again. Her dark hair covered her face now but Nancy was sure that her aunt was smirking behind that hair she could feel that.

Kung ano man ang nasa isip ng tita nya ay wala na syang pakealam. Ang gusto na lang nya ngayon ay makalabas at makaalis sa loob ng office ng tita nya para mailabas ang kanina nya pa pinipigilan na sakit sa dibdib nya.

“No one can hurt me now, Aunt Silvia.” Saad nya at akmang tatalikuran na ang tita nya ng bigla itong tumawa ng malakas na nakapag pa gulo sa isip nya.

“Surely no one can hurt you now, Nancy. My Niece.” She looked at her aunt questioningly.

“I'll tell your parents about your studies. You may go now.” Hindi na nya inantay na tignan sya pabalik ng tita nya sa halip ay malalaking hakbang ang ginawa nya para makalabas ng kwarto na yun.

Wala na syang balak pasukan ang iba nyang klase ngayon. Gusto nyang mapag isa. Gusto nyang ilabas ang sakit na nararamdaman nya at higit sa lahat gusto nyang tuyuin ang luha nya para sa susunod na bumalik ang sakit na dulot ng magulang nya ay hindi na sya iiyak.

Things are even better without them anyways.

NAGLALAKAD si Sabrina papunta sa dining hall, hindi pwedeng mag umpisa ang pagkain ng wala sya dahil sya ang uumpisa ng dasal. In all girls' schools you should really expect that they are all god's children.

Napahinto sya ng makita nya si Erica papasok ng Hall. Huminto din ito para mag bigay galang sakanya.

“Nancy's not with you?” Tanong nya dito habang nakayuko ito. Hindi din alam ni Sabrina bakit nya natanong yun pero siguro dahil yun sa umaasa syang mag kikita ulit sila ng dalaga.

“She's still in our room, Your majesty.” Sagot nito habang nakayuko pa din. She pat her head hudyat na pinapahintulutan nya itong tumingin sakanya.

“Hindi ba sya pupunta dito para kumain?” Another out of the blue moon question. Nasabi naman ni Nancy na di sya pumupunta dito pero bakit nag babaka sakali pa rin syang mag tungo ito dito para kumain?

“She hates crowded rooms, Your Majesty.” Sagot nito habang nakatingin na sakanya. Erica's eyes were filled with unknown emotion. Hindi nya maintindihan kung magulo ba ang utak nito o galit ito sa paligid nya? She stands firmly in front of Sabrina and yet her eyes and facial expressions say that she wasn't happy, maybe talking to her?

Nag umpisang mag lakad si Sabrina pero tinanungan nya muna si Erica. Alam nyang nasa likod nya lang si Tanya, Dianne at Gabby she shouldn't ask something about Nancy anymore.

“It's time, Your majesty.” Saad ni Tanya na tinanguan nya lang. Pumunta sya sa gitna ng dining hall at sinimulan ang pag darasal. Habang nag darasal sya palihim nya ding pinag darasal ang sana mag kita sila ni Nancy ngayong araw. Hindi nya nakita ang dalaga kahapon at may kung ano sa puso nya ang gustong makita ang babae.

Nang matapos sa pag darasal ay naupo sya sa upuan ng mga officer ng school na nasa pinaka unahang bahagi ng Dining hall.

“We have a meeting after school regarding the upcoming events this Friday. The welcome ceremony of our newest students.” Paninimula ni Tanya bago ito kumuha ng makakain nya.

“And we need stuff in the kitchen too. The cookery club can't do it all now, especially some of them are going to graduate now and start entering college.” Evaline Baltazar said she's the princess of Lone stone school.

They'll be surely busy this weekend to set up what they need. The Halo Academy has 4 schools, the Hailsmith, Alura, Lone stones, and the Old diamonds. And that's where they get the name Halo.

The Halo castle is in the middle of it all. The Hailsmith dorm, Alura Dorm, Lone stone dorm  and Old diamonds dorm was at the back of all the school and in the front of every school there's the Halo Castle where the college student's belong.

“Also. The head councils already choose performers for the events too.” Hydee Castro said she's the Alura princess and if she didn't know better she would literally think this girl is badly mad at Tanya Olsen the Princess of Hailsmith.

“I already got the list from them and it says—” the long pause from Kyrsa Fortes the princess of Old diamonds.

She doesn't even care about all of it and wasn't planning to give a fuck but it's her job so let's pretend she's interested.

“From Old diamonds, Danica Lee and Andrea Mitchell Alonzo. From Alura, Jemimah Fortrage and Kylen Dela Cruz. From Lone stone, Elijah Lhyn Delos Santos and Krystal Dee. From Hailsmith. Angelina Mendoza and Nancy Swift. Literally her name gives me legit famous vibes.” The last one made her look at Kyrsa, Nancy was going to perform for the welcome ceremony? Does the earth spin around? It feels like something wanna make her do her job for the first time in 3 years.

Tumayo sya mula sa kinauupuan nya at tumalikod sa mga ito. “Try not to talk about work while eating next time. Practice some manners.” Saad nya at nag lakad palayo sa mga ito.

Her heart was pumping wild just hearing Nancy's name. Was it? No it's not. It's surely the same feeling that she's interested now and will regret it later. She eventually dumped Nancy as soon as she got her.

But something about Nancy excites her and hurts her at the same time. She doesn't just figure it out now.

Nag tungo sya sa Halo Castle para umpisahan na ang pag tunog ng bell. This is the only thing she can't run from. If she doesn't ring the bell nothing will start and that will put her in trouble.

Hell was just a word for her but she never thought that hell is the responsibility in her shoulder. Does she even want this? No. But for the sake of someone's happiness she did it. She chooses the thing she doesn't want just to make others happy. Foolish and stupid move.

After making sure that all level students are in their respective class now she walks and goes to her own class. She must be the most skipping queen they ever know but she doesn't want to fail her class.

After 3 hours of classes lumabas sya ng Halo Castle to have fresh air. And that's when curiosity eats her alive.

Nancy talks about a lot of dead bodies at the back of the Hailsmith dorm. Yet the blueprint they gave to her doesn't have any graveyard on it.

Napag desisyonan nyang pumunta sa Hailsmith dorm at tignan kung anong sinasabi ni Nancy nung Sabado. Habang nag lalakad ay nadaanan nya ang Hailsmith School. Wala sa sariling napatingin sya sa taas nito at napailing.

Kung totoo ang witch's broom she surely took one right now to know where Nancy's room was. Of course to know what she's doing. But not that she cares, care. She was just curious.

Ipinitlag nya ang ulo at saka dumiretso na ng pag lalakad. Hindi sya sigurado kung saan ba sya dadaan kaya hinayaan nya na lang ang paa nya kung saan nito gusto pumunta.

Habang nag lalakad ay nakakita sya ng isang maliit na gate di kalayuan sa back door ng Hailsmith dorm. Nilapitan nya ito at napakunot ang noo nya ng makitang sarado it. It's a gate that you can't see what's in the back of it. It's locked from where she stands. Paanong nalaman ni Nancy kung ano ang nandito kung nakasarado ito at ni hindi man lang makita ang nasa loob nito.

Ipinalibot ni Sabrina ang paningin nya sa buong bahagi ng likod na yun at duon nya nakita ang isang maliit na butas na halatang isang tao lang ang kasya. Dahan dahan syang lumapit duon at sinilip iyon ng di nya makita ng maayos ang loob ay sinubukan nyang pumasok pero nahirapan sya dahil kailangan iyon gapangin para makapasok sa loob.

Sabrina sigh heavily ng makapasok. She looks around while wiping her hands and knees that are full of sand from the ground.

Ipinalibot nya ang tingin sa kabuan ng paligid at duon nya nakita ang limang puntod, dalawa sa kanan dalawa sa kaliwa at isa sa gitna ng mga ito. This is literally giving her the whole halo academy replica.

“What the fuck.” She mutters while looking around and walking toward the graveyard. “What the fuck is this place?” She said to herself while touching one of the graves.

“Hail Smith.” She almost whispers while reading the name on it. Hailsmith. Why does it feel like she's having goosebumps right now?

“Queen of Halo.” Napabalikwas sya ng lingon ng marinig ang baritonong boses na iyon. Her eyes widened seeing Fr. Benjamin Flores standing right next to the tree near one of the graves.

“Good afternoon, Father.” Saad nya kasabay ng munting pag yuko. Akala nya si Nancy lang ang nakaka alam ng tungkol sa Graveyard na to. Does Nancy know that Fr. Benjamin know about this graveyard?

“What are you doing here in the middle of the day?” The Priest asks. She look around and carefully blows a sigh before looking back at the man.

“I was just wandering around and found this place. It's— quiet and peaceful.” She said smiling then looked at the other side of the graveyard. She feels so uncomfortable all of the sudden.

“I see. Congratulations. You found this little graveyard.” The priest said logically. She's trying hard to look at the priest but the uncomfortable feelings keep lingering in her throat.

“How's your study anyways?” Fr. Benjamin asks while walking slowly toward her, his hands are on his back and he stands firmly next to her.

“It's. Good.” the only words she can say while staring and tapping the grave in front of her. The priest even comes closer and her feet seem to have its own mind to move a little bit away.

“Your father is a good man. How is he by the way?” Hindi nya alam pero sa bawat pag bukas ng bibig ng pari ay tila umaakyat ang dugo nya sa ulo nya at gusto na lang nya umalis.

Sabrina manages to smile and nod to the priest while thinking how she can walk away from him.

“He's good.” She knows she sounds rude but she can't help it.

Napansin ni Sabrina ang babaeng dumaan sa gilid ng mata nya. Is it? Nancy? Agad syang humarap sa pari at ngumiti dito.

“Nice to talk to you again. Father. But I have to go. I have more jobs to do.” That's a lie. She just wanted to talk to Nancy and she's been craving it since yesterday.

The priest smiles at her then nods before she bow down a little. She feels that the priest rubs her hair.

“You're surely busy. Go ahead, Queen.” The priest's word. She just smiled and then walked toward the path where she saw Nancy.

Nang makarating sa pinasukan ni Nancy ay lalong nanlamig ang pakiramdam nya. The place was filled by the grave. This is not a graveyard anymore. This is a cemetery for God's sake. Who the hell put an entire cemetery at the back of the academy?

Nakita nya si Nancy sa gilid nito na tila may kung anong pinupukpuk duon habang papalapit sya ay unti unti din lumalakas ang yagabog na iyon kasabay ng mga munting pag hikbi ni Nancy na mas naririnig sa malapitan.

Mas lalong nalinawan si Sabrina ng mas mapalapit sya sa kinaroroonan ni Nancy. Hindi ito pumupukpuk ng kung ano kunti inuuntog nito ang sariling ulo sa pader na nag hihiwalay sa dalawang libingan.

“Nan—” she composed herself realizing that Nancy had become formal the last time they encountered.

“Ms. Swift.” Saad nya habang nakatayo sa gilid nito at patagong ikinukuyom ang kamao ng unti-unting humarap sakanya si Nancy.

She's crying. Tanging pumasok sa isip nya ng makita ang mga luha sa pisngi nito. Mas lalong nag alala si Sabrina ng makita ang pamumula ng noo nito nang makaharap ito ng ayos sakanya.

“Your forehead.” Tanging Saad nya. She could see how Nancy glared at her while she's wiping her own tears.

“What do you care?” That hits her like a gunshot directly into her chest. Lalapit sana sya dito para hawakan ang noo nito nang bigla itong umatras palayo sakanya.

“What the fuck are you doing here?!” Nancy yelled that hit her every core. She doesn't know why she cares so much for her, and why she's hurting right by her words.

“I—” napahinto si Sabrina ng biglang suntukin ng malakas ni Nancy ang pader at kitang kita nya ang biglaang pag dugo ng kamao nito.

“Don't show any sign of concern for me because I hate it! That's fucking making me vomit my lungs out! And I don't fucking need that!” Natulala si Sabrina sa mga narinig nya mula kay Nancy pero hindi nya magawang umalis o talikuran ito dahil sa nakikita nyang pamumula ng noo at pag durugo ng kamao nito.

“Go! Just fucking go!” Nancy added but she just took two steps back and stopped.

“Just pretend I'm not here.” Malamig na anya habang nakatitig pa din kay Nancy. Nancy shook her head then looked up at the sky.

“Can't you understand?! I don't need someone to be with me right now! I need to be alone. I don't fucking need you. And who even you are to be needed anyways?!” Wala syang masabi sa mga narinig nyang iyon mula kay Nancy. Pero hindi nya din alam kung bakit ayaw kumilos ng paa nya para talikuran ito.

Who even you are to be needed anyways? Who is she to be needed?

Naupo si Sabrina sa lupa at isinadal ang likod nya sa pader. Wala syang karapatang ipakitang nasasaktan sya sa harap ng taong nasasaktan din. Kailangan nyang intindihan na kaya ganto si Nancy dahil nasasaktan ito. Pero bakit? Anong dahilan? Sino ang nanakit kay Nancy para maging ganito sya?

It's hurting her seeing how Nancy is hurting right now but she doesn't understand why. All she wanted was to be there even if Nancy doesn't need her.

Those words don't seem to make sense to her. She doesn't understand Nancy's words but it all lingers in her mind like some sort of nightmare. It's hurting her the way she doesn't understand.

She could hear Nancy punch and kick the wall while sobbing silently. She stayed there until she couldn't hear anymore. Her hands are clenched while listening to Nancy.

Maingat nyang pinakawalan ang buntong hininga nya at sinigurado nyang di iyon maririnig ni Nancy. She put herself next to her and lay down on her back facing the Blue-gray sky like how Nancy did it.

She could stay there like that until Nancy left to make sure she was feeling better and would have medical aid for her wounded fist.

This is nice, laying down with you, sniffing fresh air with you, looking up at the sky with you, but it's hurt knowing you hurt yourself physically just to not feel the pain emotionally. Been there and done that. I know you did that for a reason.
