"No, I really think I do." Barboassa replyed. Jack just stood there and shrugged. "Your funeral " Annoyed Barboza rolled his eyes. "Why don't I want to be doing this?" He asked annyoed. "Oh, because..." he started and slapped the hand from a pirate off his shoulder. "Because the HMS Dauntless, pride of the Royal Navy, is floating just offshore, waiting for you," he said, and everyone looked at each other. "Order your men to row out to the Dauntless. They do what they do best; Robert's your uncle, and Fannie's your aunt. There you are with two ships. The makings of your very own fleet. Of course you'll take the grandest as your flagship, and who's to argue? But what off the Pearl? Name me captain. I'll sail under your colors. I'll give you ten percent of me plunder, and you get to introduce yourself as Commander Barbossa. Savvy?" Jack told him, and I looked at him confused. Why would he make this offer? He would never sail under Barbossa. "I suppose in exchange you wanted me to not kill the whelp?" Barbossa asked. "No, no, not at all. By all means, kil the whelp. Just not yet. Wait to lift the curse until the opportune moment. For instance, after you've killed Norrington's men. Every." He dropped a coin. "Last." Dropped another one. "One." and dropped another one." Will looked at him furious. "You've been planning this from the beginning, ever since you learned my name!" "Yeah!" he said.
"I want 50 percent of your plunder." Barbossa said. "15." "40," "25, and I'll buy you a really big one, Commodore." Jack said sand Barbossa smiled evil at him. "We have an account." He said, and they shook hands. "All hands to the boat!" Jack yelled, and Barbossa looked at him annoyed. "Apologies, oyu, give the orders," he told him. "Gents take a walk." Bartbossa said, and the men started walking out of the cave. "Not to the boats?" Jack asked. I crawled back a little and hid at a wall as they walked past me.
When they were gone, I slowly made my way through the cave, and when nobody was looking, I entered the big cave where Jack, Will Barbossa, and a few members of his crew were and hid behind a rock. "I must admit, Jack, I thought I had you figured." Barbossa said as Jack looked through mayn gold things. "But turns out you're a hard man to predict." Barbossa told him. "Me? I'm dishonstes. And a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for. Because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly stupid." He pulled out a sword from a pirate and pushed the man into the water. He threw the sword over to Will, who freed himself and punched a pirate who held a sword. I quickly ran over to the sword that was now laying on the ground and started fighting with another pirate. "Y/n?!" Jack and Will yelled but got distracted in their own fights. Will and I then fought again while Jack and Barbossa thought. We fought for probably good 10 minutes when I looked at Jack and Barbossa and saw he put a sword through Jack's chest. "Jack!" I yelled, and he looked at me before stumbling backwards into the moonlight, and Jack turned into a skeleton himself. "That's interssting. I couldn't resist, mate." He said, grinned at him, and they kept fighting. Will and I got back to our fights when a pirate knocked us down with a bomb and held a sword to Will's throat. "I'm going to teach you the meaning of pain!" "Do you like pain?" and even Elizabeth now appeared into the cave and punched a pirate. "Try wearing a corset." She said, and Elizabeth pulled Will up while I got up myself. "Who's side is Jack on?" Elizabeth asked. "At the moment?" Will asked, and I grinned as I took my sword and ran at the next pirate. We defined the most pirates, and I quickly ran in the direction of Barbossa and Jack when Jack threw his gold coin over to Will, and Barbossa pulled out his gun and pointed at me. I stopped and shared eye contact with Jack for a moment before a gun was fired, and I looked at Jack as he pointed his weapon at Barbossa. He shot him.
"Ten years you carried that pistol, and now you waste your shot." Barbossa said mockingly. "He didn't waste it." Will said, and we all looked over to him. He had the knife with his blood and the gold coins in his hand and dropped it into the chest. Barbossa opened his coat, and we noticed blood coming out of his chest. "I feel... cold," he said and fell to the ground.
Jack then started looking through some gold things when Elizabeth approached Will. I walked over to Jack. "Thank you, Jack. For saving my life, you know." I said, and he looked at me. "Anytime, love." He said, grinning. I sat down and watched him. "You know you can always come with me." He said it without looking at me. "I promised to marry Norrington." I reminded him and looked down. "Aye, you did," Jack mused, still not looking at me as he rifled through a pile of gold. "But promises... well, they're more like... guidelines, really. And as it happens, I'm quite good at breaking guidelines." He said, catching me by surprise. I looked up at him, and he was already looking at me, giving me a pointing look.
"The sea's wide, the horizon's endless, and no one tells you where to go or what to do. You, me, the Pearl... we'd make quite the pair, wouldn't we? Savvy?" His grin widened as he looked at me. "But of course, if you prefer the straight and narrow, well... Norrington's always waiting. Fine fellow, that one. Bit dull, though, don't you think?" I laughed at him. "You never change, Jack." I laughed, and he grinned even more if that's even possible. "Well, love? What'll it be?" he asked, and I just answered him with a wide Grinn. "I think you know that answer very well." I told him, and with a smile, he held out his hand for me. "Come on." We then watched Will and Elizabeth for a moment until Elizabth stormed out of the cave. "If you were waiting for the opportune moment, that was it." Jack told him and walked out of the cave with all the gold he could carry. "Now, I'd be much obliged if you'd drop us off at my ship," he said, and we left the cave.
To our disappointment, the pearl was gone. "I'm sorry, Jack." Elizabeth said. That means all the happiness I felt just a minute ago was gone. Jack's going to get hung; I'll have to marry Norrington. Jack and I sat at the front of the boat, him holding my hand. "They did what's right by them. Can't expect more than that." He said as we rowed over to the Dauntless. We got separated from Jack, who got put into the cells.
