The next morning, I was gently woken up by Jack kissing my cheek. "Wake up, love." He mumbled, and I opened my eyes to look into his brown ones. "Good morning." I mumbled and stretched myself. "Are we there yet?" I asked and sat up. "Yeah, come on, let's get on deck, love." Jack said and pulled me up. "All right, give me a second to get ready, and I'll be right there." I told him and slowly got ready. I then left the room and went on deck to stand next to the others, who were already looking at a huge island. "Look alive and keep a weather eye. Not for naught it's called Shipwreck Island. Where lies Shipwreck Cove and the town of Shipwreck!" Gibbs yelled.

"You heard him!" "Step lively!" Some pirates yelled while Gibbs and I followed after Jack. "You know, for all the pirates being clever, we are unimaginative when it comes to naming things." Jack said. "Aye..." Gibbs agreed. "I once sailed with a geezer who lost both of his arms and part of his eye..." Jack said. "What did you call him?" Gibbs asked, and I also looked at him curiously. "Larry," Jack said, and we all kept quiet.

Jack then slowly walked away while he pulled me along with him. "When are we leaving the ship?" I asked him. "We'll go aboard in the evening; until then, we'll just wait." Jack said and sat down on a barrow, pulling me on his lap. "Why did you wake me up then?" I asked and raised my brows at him. "I just wanted your presence." He said and snuggled his face in the crook of my neck. "And by the way, where is Will?" I then asked him as I looked around. "Where's who?" Jack then asked with a grin. "Jack..." I mumbled, knowing he had done something again. "He's not anything to worry about." Jack said and stroked my hair.

------------

Our ship slowly drove towards Shipwreck Bay, and I looked at it with big eyes. "This is..." I mumbled. "I know love." Jack said with a smile. "It's beautiful." I mumbled in awe. "There's not been a gathering like this in our lifetime." Barbossa said also amazed. "And I owe them all money..." Jack said, and I giggled at him.

We stepped out from the boat, and Jack held out a hand to help me as we entered the huge building and went into a room where all the leaders were gathered. Barbossa then hammered on the table with an iron ball, and the room went silent to look at him. "As he who issued the summons, I convene this, the Fourth Brethren Court. To confirm your lordship and right to be heard, present now your pieces of eight, my fellow cap'ns." Barbossa said, and Ragetti started to collect some things the pirates put into the bowl.

"Those aren't pieces of eight. They're just pieces of junk." Pintel said. "Aye. The original plan was to use nine pieces of eight to bind Calypso. But when the First Court met, the Brethren were, to a one, skint broke." Gibbs told him. "So change the name..." Pintel said. "To what? 'Nine pieces of whatever we happen to have in our pockets at the time?' Oh, yes. That sounds very piratey." Gibbs said, and I looked back at Barbossa. "Master Ragetti, if you will." Barbossa said "I kept it safe, just like you said when you gave it to me." Ragetti said. "Aye, you have. But now I need it back." Barbossa told him and slapped him on the back of his head, so his eye fell out into Barbossa's hand. He caught it and put it into the bowl.

"Sparrow!" One said, and all eyes landed on Jack. "Might I point out that we're still short on one pirate lord, and I'm as content as a cucumber to wait until Sao Feng joins us?" Jack said as he walked up next to me. "Sao Feng is dead." A female voice spoke, and we turned to look at Elizabeth. "He fell to the Flying Dutchman." She said, and the people started to argue. "The plague ship!" Elizabeth then also stabbed a sword into a globe.

"He made you captain!? They're giving the bloody title away now." Jack mumbled annoyed, and I gently nudged him while grinning at him. "Listen to me! Our location has been betrayed. Jones is under the command of Lord Beckett. They're on their way here." Elizabeth said. "Who is the betrayer!?" One of the Lords asked. "Not like anyone among us!" Barbossa said loudly. "Where's Will?" Elizabeth asked. "Not among us." Jack answered.

"It matters not how they found us. The question is, what will we do now that they have?" Barbossa asked. "We fight." Elizabeth said, and suddenly everyone started laughing out loud. "Shipwreck Cove is a fortress. A well-supplied fortress. There's no need to fight if they cannot get to us." A female lord spoke, and the others agreed. "There be a third course." Barbossa spoke up. "In another age, at this very spot, the First Brethren Court captured the sea goddess and bound her in her bones." He said, and the others nodded. "That was a mistake. Oh, we tamed the seas for ourselves, aye. But opened the door to Beckett and his ilk. Better were the days when mastery of seas came not from bargains struck with eldritch creatures, but from the seat of a mans brow and the streangth og his back alone. You all know this to be true. Gentlemen. Ladies... We must free Calyptso..." Barboss said, and I'm not exaggerating when I say hell broke loose.

"Shoot him!" "Cut his tongue out!" Two pirate lords yelled. "Shoot him, cut out his tongue. Then shoot his tongue. And trim that beard!" Jack yelled, and I raised my brows at him, confused, while he grinned at me.
