Jack was taken and about to be brought to Backet, but Jack stopped walking. "She comes with us." Jack said and pointed at me. I looked at him surprised, and the men who were told to get him to Beckett looked annoyed. "I won't leave her back here with a dirty bunch of pirates." Jack said. So a second later, I was grabbed by another man, and we both were dragged to Cutler Backet. "Jack, do me a favour and don't provoke him to kill us." I said, and he gave me a grin. "Don't worry, I'm Captain Jack Sparrow," he told me. "That's exactly why I worry." I mumbled, and we then got pushed into a room. "Curious. Your friends appear to be quite desperate, Jack. Perhaps they no longer believe that a gathering of squabbling pirates can defeat the Flying Dutchman. And so despair leads to betrayal." Jack began looking through some small crates as he looked around the room, while I still stood at the door and watched Backet. "But you and I are no strangers to betrayal, are we? It's not here, Jack." Becket said, and Jack looked at him. "What? What isn't?" Jack asked. "The heart of Davy Jones. It's safety aboard the Dutchman, and so unavailable for use as leverage to satify your devt to the good captain." Becket answered. "By my reckoning, that account has been settled." Jack answered. "By your death? And yet here you are." Becket said. "Close your eyes and pretend it's all a bad dream. That's how I get by." Jack said with a grin and looked at a picture, trying to imitate it. "And if Davy Jones were to learn of your survival?" Backet asked, and I then spoke. "You could've told him. You didn't. You need Jack." I said, and his gaze landed on me. "Perhaps you'll consider an alternative arrangement. One that requires absolutely nothing from you but information." Becket said. Jack looked at a map and then Becket offered him a drin, which he took. "Regarding the Brethren Court, no doubt. In exchange for fair compensation? Square my debt with Jones...guarantee my freedom?" Jack said, and then he looked at me. "And guarantee Y/n's freedom." Jack added, and I looked at him with a soft smile. "Of course." Backet answered. "It's just good business." Becket answered. "Were I in a divulgatory mood, what then might I divulge?" Jack asked. "Everything. Where are they meeting? Who are the pirate lords? What is the purpose of the nine pieces of eight?" Becket said.

"You can keep Barbossa. The belligerent homunculus and his friend with the wooden eye, both. And Turner. Especially Turner. The rest go with me on the Pearl. I'll lead you to Shipwreak Cove, where I will hand you the pirates and you will not hand me to Jones. Bloody fair deal. Don't you think?"

"And what becomes of Miss Swann?" Jack then pulled me over to him with an arm around my waist. "You're not getting her. Nor are you going to hurt her in any way." Jack told him. "Jack, I've just remembered. I've got this wonderful compadd, which points to whatever I want. So for what do I need you?" Becket asked. "Points to the things you want most. And that is not the Brethren Court, is it?" Jack said with his typical smile. "Then what is, Jack?" Beckett asked. "Me... dead." Jack replied.

Backet then threw the compass at Jack, annoyed, who threw a fan at him. "Although, if I kill you, then I can use the compass to find Shipwreck Cove. Is it on my own? Cut out the middleman." Backet said and pointed a gun at Jack. Jack then slowly walked a little in front of me, pushing me slightly behind him. "With me killed, you'd arrive at the cove, find it a stronghold, night impregnable...able to withstand blockade for years. Then you'd be wishing, 'If only there was someone I had not killed inside to ensure that the pirates then come outside." Jack said, and I looked at him irritated. Is he really going to betray them all?

"And you can accomplish that?" Becket asked. "You may kill me, but you may never insult me. Who am I?" Jack asked happily, and Becket shook his head, confused, as he looked at Jack. "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow." He said, kind of pouting.

Suddenly a gun was fired, and the ship started shaking. Jack quickly pulled me down and shook Beckett's hand. "Done!" He said, grabbed my hand, and pulled me after him out of the room. He opened the door, and when the guards from in front of the door went to attack us, Jack closed it again, and the guards ran straight into the doors. We then continued leaving the boat onto the deck.

Jack then put a rope around a cannon and threw it over the sail. "You're mad." Becket said as he looked at the construction. "Thank goodness. If I wasn't, this'd probably never work." Jack said, and I looked at him with concern. "You sure this won't kill us?" I whispered and he smirked at me. "Don't think, just trust me." He said, pulling me over to him by my waist and lighting the cannon.

We got thrown into the air and over onto the Black Pearl. At the right moment, Jack let go of the rope, and we landed on deck. "And that was without even a single drop of rum." Jack said proudly and jumped down while I slowly climbed down to the others. Jack then approached Will. "Send this pestilent, traitorous, cowardly, yeasty codpiece to the brig." Jack spit it out, and after that, he turned to smile at me. "Come on, let's get you cleaned up, love." Jack said, and we then went into his cabin.

"Are you really planning on betraying them?" I asked him with concern. "Don't worry, Love. I'll take care of everything." He grinned. "Now, you go to sleep and relax; it was a tough day." He gently kissed my head, and I drifted off to sleep.
