The two guards quickly scrambled to follow Lisa, their eyes scanning the surrounding area for any sign of her. They knew they had to find her before Lugard's patience ran out.
Meanwhile, Lisa walked further away from the estate, feeling a sense of freedom she hadn't experienced in a long time. She didn't know how long it would last, but she was determined to enjoy every moment of it. Little did she know, Lugard's men were closing in on her...
Lisa walked on, her eyes drinking in the sights and sounds of the bustling streets. She had never seen anything like it before - the vibrant colors, the ornate buildings, the throngs of people rushing to and fro.
She felt alive, free, and exhilarated. She had no idea how far she had walked, or where she was going. She just knew she had to keep moving, to explore this beautiful city that seemed to stretch on forever.
The street she was on was grand and wide, lined with towering trees and gleaming skyscrapers. The pavement was spotless, the air clean and fresh. Lisa felt as though she had entered a different world, one that was far removed from the sterile, controlled environment of the estate.
As she walked, she began to notice the little things - the street performers juggling fire and spinning plates, the vendors selling exotic foods and colorful trinkets, and the children laughing and playing in the park.
Lisa's heart swelled with joy. She had never felt so carefree, so alive. She didn't know how much longer
But as the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the street, Lisa realized she had walked farther than she thought. The buildings seemed to be getting taller, the streets more crowded. She looked around, trying to get her bearings, but everything looked unfamiliar.
A tiny seed of doubt planted itself in her mind. Had she walked too far? Was she lost?
As she was thinking, a luxurious car pulled up in front of her, its sleek design and tinted windows gleaming in the fading light. Lisa tried to step back, but the guards escorting the car were too fast. They grabbed her arms, their grip like a vice, and pulled her into the car.
Lisa screamed and struggled, but her voice was muffled by the soundproofing. She kicked and flailed, but her efforts were futile against the guards' brute strength.
Everything happened so fast. One moment she was standing on the sidewalk, the next she was being dragged into the car. She caught a glimpse of the driver's face, his eyes cold and unyielding, before everything went blank.
The last thing Lisa remembered was the feeling of being trapped, of being powerless. Then, darkness.
Lugard stood at the head of the conference table, his eyes scanning the room as he addressed the shareholders. "Gentlemen, our profits are up, our investments are paying off, and our company is thriving."
The room erupted into a chorus of applause and murmurs of approval. Lugard's gaze swept the room, his eyes locking onto the faces of his associates and investors.
But as he began to speak again, his phone buzzed in his pocket. He ignored it, his focus on the meeting.
However, the phone buzzed again, and again, each time more insistently. Lugard's eyes narrowed, his patience wearing thin.
Finally, he excused himself and stepped out of the room, his phone clutched in his hand. "Yes?" he growled, his voice low.
"Young master lu, we have a problem," his man said, his voice urgent. "Young madam has been kidnapped."
Lugard's face went white, his eyes blazing with fury. "Who?" he snarled, his voice deadly.
" am not sure, sir. A car pulled in front of her and dragged her into the car."
