Suddenly, Lugard's eyes flicked to the maid, his gaze piercing, as if he knew exactly what she was thinking. The maid's smile faltered, her heart skipping a beat, as she wondered if she had misjudged the situation entirely.
Lugard's gaze moved away from the maid and butler, his eyes sweeping across the room as he commanded, "You may all leave."
The servants didn't need to be told twice. They bowed and curtsied, backing away slowly as they retreated from the room. The maid who had been smiling mischievously earlier couldn't help but cast a triumphant glance at Lisa, as if to say, "You're on your own now."
The butler, however, lingered for a moment, his eyes fixed on Lugard's plate, still piled high with food. "Sir, are you sure—"
But Lugard's gaze cut him off, his eyes flashing with warning. "I said, leave."
The butler bowed hastily and beat a retreat, closing the door behind him. The room was silent once more, except for the sound of Lisa's gentle humming as she continued to eat from Lugard's plate.
Lugard's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in anger, as he watched her. The air was thick with tension, the silence oppressive, as if waiting for the storm to break.
Lugard feels like beating Lisa up until she learns her lesson.
Lugard moves from his chair grabbing Lisa by the wrist, his fingers closing around her like a vice.
Lisa screamed in pain, her eyes turning red as she tried to pull away.
"What do you think you're doing?" Lugard's voice was low and menacing, his eyes blazing with fury.
Lisa's face contorted in agony, her wrist feeling like it was being crushed. "Let me go!" she cried, trying to twist her arm free.
But Lugard's grip only tightened. He pulled her closer, his face inches from hers. "You're going to regret touching my food," he hissed, his breath hot against her skin.
he wants to crush Lisa Like an ant.
Lisa's eyes flashed with defiance, despite the pain. "I was just trying to help," she spat back, her voice trembling with anger and pain.
Lugard's eyes narrowed, his gaze burning with intensity. his grip on her wrist tightened, his eyes blazing with fury.
he smirked in his heart "You think you're helping me?" he spat, his voice low and menacing. "You think you can just touch my food, my plate, and I'll let you get away with it?"
Lisa's eyes flashed with defiance, despite the pain in her wrist. "I was just trying to help," she repeated, her voice steady.
Lugard's face twisted in disgust. "You're not helping, you're contaminating," he snarled, his eyes scanning her face as if she were something repulsive. "You're always daring to cross my bottom line.
Lisa's eyes began to water, her wrist throbbing in pain. "Let me go," she demanded, trying to pull her arm free.
But Lugard's grip only tightened even more. "You're not going anywhere," he growled, his eyes glinting with a sinister light. "You're going to stay right here and face the consequences of your actions."
since am staying here, then let's continue. Lisa murmured angrily with a red eye. She has already long lost her appetite. Since you don't want to let go let me continue causing trouble. Lisa thought.
Lugard's eyes widened in disbelief as Lisa picked up food from his plate again, her movements bold and defiant. She brought the food close to his lips, her face scrunched up in a fierce frown.
Lugard's brow furrowed in confusion. What are you up to, troublemaker? Lugard thought to himself.
"Are you eating or not?" she demanded, her voice firm.
You're pushing your luck," Lugard growled, his voice barely audible.
But Lisa just glared at him, her eyes flashing with anger. "I'm not afraid of you," Mr Lu. "she spat, her voice dripping with contempt.
The air was electric with tension, the silence between them thick with unspoken threats. Lugard's aura was deadly, his eyes burning with a fierce intensity, but Lisa refused to back down.
after thinking for a moment, As he was about to open his mouth, Lisa retrieved her hand and popped the food into her own mouth instead. Lugard's grip on her wrist tightened in anger, his eyes blazing with fury.
Lisa's eyes widened as she tried to hold back her scream, but she couldn't help the small gasp that escaped her lips.
"Why did you eat it?" Lugard asked coldly.
Lugard's face twisted in a snarl, his teeth bared in a fierce grimace. "You think you can just eat my food?" he growled, his voice low and menacing.
Lisa stared at him with confusion, her eyes sparkling with defiance. "You don't want to eat it," she said, her voice steady. "I don't waste food like you, that's why I ate it."
Lugard's expression turned even darker, his eyes flashing with anger. you are daring me to born you, this troublemaker. he warned in his heart.
his face turned beet red with rage, his eyes bulging from their sockets. "You...you...how dare you!" he spluttered, his voice trembling with fury.
Lisa's eyes widened in pain as his grip on her wrist tightened, but she refused to back down. "I don't waste food like you," she repeated, her voice firm. "You're so obsessed with your cleanliness and your rules, but you're willing to let good food go to waste. I'm not like that."
Lugard's expression turned incredulous, his eyes flashing with disbelief. "You think you're better than me?" he snarled, his voice dripping with venom.
Lisa's face set in a determined expression. "I'm not better than you, I'm just not wasteful," she said, her voice steady. "And I'm not afraid of you, no matter how hard you squeeze my wrist," she shouted like a crazy woman.
Lugard's grip tightened even further, his knuckles white with rage.
Lisa's eyes water even more, but she refuses to cry out in pain. She just stared at him, her eyes flashing with defiance.
she started thinking and planning on how to escape.
Lisa's plan worked like a charm. As she picked another piece of food and brought it to his lips, her pleading eyes melted Lugard's icy demeanor. But it was her words that truly disarmed him.
"Sorry, I was wrong, I was just trying to make my handsome, cool husband eat something and try something new," she said, her voice sweet and gentle. "And the food is also good for your health."
Lugard's anger dissipated, replaced by a calm, almost serene expression. He gazed at Lisa, his eyes softening as he heard her call him "husband". It was a term of endearment he hadn't expected, and it touched a chord deep within him.
in Lisa's heart, she gritted her teeth, Who's handsome cool husband, you are a handsome ice cube demon, she said.
Lugard opened his mouth, allowing Lisa to feed him the food. As the flavors touched his tongue, he couldn't help but nod in agreement. It was good, and he could see why Lisa wanted him to try it.
Lisa smiled, relief washing over her face. "See, it's not so bad, is it?" she asked, her voice teasing a bit.
Lugard's gaze never left hers, his eyes locked on hers as he chewed and swallowed. ignoring her questions.
The tension between them dissipated, replaced by a sense of intimacy and connection. Lisa's bold move had paid off, and Lugard's icy facade had finally begun to crack.
Lisa winced trying to leave the dining room, she tried to subtly pull her hand away, but Lugard's grip only tightened.
She wanted to stand up, to escape from this cold demon to check if her wrist was broken and could still be fixed back but Lugard's words poured over her like cold water, freezing her in place.
"Feed me," Lugard commanded, his voice low and husky, but with an undercurrent of steel.
Lisa's heart sank, her mind racing with a question and defiance. what is the meaning of this, a full-grown man asking me to feed him, she looks at Lugard up and down. don't you have hands, or have you turned into a one-year-old child? Lisa questioned angrily in her mind.
