Pink hair dye on roommate prank

I was editing a video when I heard Colby shout "Y/n, come here I need help". I walked to his room "What's up". He looked at me and said "We are going to get revenge". I was confused "On who?". He looked at me and said "Well, Jake is the one who's been pranking us non stop". I nodded and said "Oh yes, he has yes, I remember now".

Colby looked at me and said "He did the invisible tap prank". I laughed "Didn't he also do the spray paint on door prank". He nodded and said "Yeah, that's another one of them, but now I'm getting sick and tired of his pranking crap". I looked at him "So you want to get him back". 

He nodded "So Jake's pranks haven't been that good so we're going to go above and beyond and we're gonna dye his hair pink". My mouth dropped "That's going to be so hard to get out because his hair is so white". He nodded "Exactly and he loves his white hair and he even uses this special shampoo that keeps it the white he has it".

I looked at him and said "He asked me the other day if I thought his hair made him look edgy and now that I'm thinking about it, it kinda does". Colby shrugged "Well, we're gonna ruin it today, I'm just hoping its gonna work". I looked at the hair dye "Well it should do since it is legit hair dye".

Colby nodded and said "Well, he has a shower every night before he goes to bed and that's when we're going to strike". I looked at him "I can already tell he's going to be so mad". Colby laughed "That's if he doesn't notice". I shook my head "I don't think he will". Colby shrugged "Either way he's gonna freak out".

I then said "There is only one outcome we want from this". Colby nodded "To let the new roommate not to mess with Y/n and I". I nodded "Yeah we don't like being messed with". When we got into Jake's bathroom Colby whispered "Right now we have to find Jake's shampoo". 

I looked at him "Do we know what brand it is like 'L'oreal' or something". Colby shrugged "That's a good question because I'm not sure". I looked at the stand in the shower "Never mind I've found it". Then Colby took the shampoo off me and said "Right so we need to take all the shampoo out and put the hair dye in there".

I stopped him "Wait the shampoo is purple, surely he'd notice if it just suddenly turned pink". Colby paused "Oh shit yes, erm lets hope he just doesn't notice". Then I said "But if he's in the shower I doubt he'd look in his hand because it is Jake we're talking about after all". Colby nodded "Well that is true".

We then put the pink hair dye in there after washing the tube out and Colby said "I've just been thinking I'm glad I bought the semi-permanent hair dye". I nodded "Yeah I don't think Jake wants to have pink hair for the rest of his life". Colby shrugged "Well tell him it permanent because then we'll get more of a reaction out of him".

Then Colby put the shampoo back and said "Well now we wait". Later Colby and I was sat on his couch and Jake got into the shower and I said "I hope he doesn't notice the pink in his shampoo before he puts it on his head". Colby nodded "Our prank will be ruined if he does and I want to get his reaction when his hair is pink". 

When he got out of the shower we stood outside of his door and Colby said "Hey Jake, does any think look different". Jake opened the door letting us in and I said "What in the world happened to your hair". Jake looked at us "What did you two do". Colby gave him a fake confused look "What do you mean".

He looked at us "Did I not wash it out enough". I laughed "What do you mean". Colby then said "What's wrong". Jake was not trying to get the dye out of his hair "You two did this to me, you made my hair pink". I shrugged "It looks good on you Jake". He looked at us and said "Well it isn't real, no there's no pink on the towel, why would you do this to me".

Colby looked at him "I think it looks beautiful". Jake turned to us "What did I do to you two to deserve this". I looked at him "I think Colby could give you a few". Colby nodded "This is revenge for the pranks you have done to me". Jake looked at him "I made you run into a bit of sticky tape and you dye my hair pink".

I looked at him "I think you look gorgeous Jake". He sighed and said "My fucking hair looks like Barney's ass". Colby looked at him "It looks great dude, I don't know what you're talking about". Jake then rubbed his hair and said "Fuck, I look like Barney took a shit on me". I shrugged "It could've look like something worse had a shit on your head".

Colby then said "In all seriousness, it looks really good, like it doesn't look bad". I looked at him "Anyways, what do you think about your hair". He looked at us and said "I think you two did me a favour". Colby smiled "So you kind of like it now". Jake nodded "I think you two know what looks better on me than I do".

I nodded "Glad we could be at service". Colby laughed "Hell yeah guys, he loves it". Jake looked at us "I went through a roller coaster of emotions then and I didn't notice because I just squirted it onto my head". Colby looked at him and said "Who does that". I shrugged and said "Well like I said earlier, it is Jake we are talking about".

Colby looked at Jake "Are you pissed off or?". He shook his head "No I was pissed off at first but then I came to like it". I smiled "I'm glad you're no longer pissed off at us". Jake nodded "After you told me it looked nice, I calmed down and you've made me feel good about myself". I looked at him "I'm glad".

Colby nodded "That's good". I looked at him "I'm glad you like it and we'll get out of your way Jake"
