Reece's POV

I had spent the day with Aut, at the solicitor's office, the law and business degree's haven't gone to waste, she had put together an airtight takeover deal laying out how the new management would work and how, we signed everything, and the takeover would start a week on Monday, we have called a board meeting for 9am that day, the only thing we don't know about is my bastard fathers silent partner, but to be honest it doesn't really matter now, as we have Siobhan on side thanks to Marjorie and Siobhan's new friend Vivian, I'm certain there is more to their relationship, but it's for Siobhan to tell everyone when she is ready to I know Marjorie knows everything but I won't push her for details. We ended up staying at the solicitor's office until 4pm, so we both decided to go straight home, Winter had dropped Aut off this morning, so I drove her home "Can you apologies to Marjorie again, for me cancelling our lunch today"

"Yeah, sure no problem, she understands why you cancelled"

We arrived at Aut's house; Winter had just pulled on to the driveway, he walked over to my car and opened the door for Aut "Hello my love"

"Hello, my sweet" then they both kissed

Ew can you keep your displays of affection to yourselves please" I joked Aut leaned in and punched me "Thanks for that little sis"

Winter leaned into the car looking a bit concerned "I think there is something up with Marjorie, when she got back from her meeting today, she went straight into her office and shut the door, she didn't seem herself Charlotte went in to speak with her, I'm not sure what happened but Charlotte was upset when she came out of the office again. She wouldn't tell anyone what Marjorie had said" he told me

"Okay, thanks for letting me know" As I pull out of the driveway I put my phone in the hands free and dial Charlotte, it took her a few rings to answer, I knew she didn't have her daughters tonight as they were at a birthday party and sleepover, a breathless Charlotte answered the phone "Hello, what do you want?"

"Wow is that how you answer the phone to one of your boss's"

I hear Mia's voice "Only when they ring and disturb our child free evening" I hear Charlotte giggling and saying "AMELIA"

"Sorry Reece, what can I do for you?"

"You spoke with Majorie this afternoon? Winter told me she didn't seem right after her meeting at social services"

"Yes, I took her a cup of coffee in, and she was crying and sitting in her chair rubbing her thighs. She was really upset, I asked her what was wrong she said it was details of the meeting that had upset her.... Amelia.... stop it"

"ew keep your hands to yourself please Mia" I shouted

I could hear both giggling then Charlotte said "As I was leaving her office, she said something about her baby she had when she was 15, and it was taken away"

"What a baby.... Marjorie had a baby when she was 15?" I was in shock

"That can't be right, she would have told me about something like that wouldn't she?"

The phone had gone silent, Charlotte had hung up and was back enjoying the child-free night with Mia.

As I arrived at Marjorie's house, I saw her car parked outside, she had given me a spare key, so I let myself in. Her house seemed too quiet usually when we spend the evening at Marjorie's the first thing, she does is shout "ALEXA PLAY MY LOVES PLAYLIST" the first song that comes on is Breathe by Faith Hill followed by I love the way you kiss me by Artemes then a mixture of Girls Aloud, Harry Styles, Nirvana and Pearl Jam and Guns n Roses. Tonight, there was no music, no lights where on it was silent.
