Chapter 19

It's going to jump forward a month, I was struggling to finish the last chapter, so Marjorie and the twins are home, Reece is back at work he works at the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, then he has a long weekend at home. Marjorie has got the twins into a routine; Stevie has gone back to Liverpool for University.

Marjorie's POV

I lie in bed, Reece is sleeping, I can't sleep the twins had a bad day today, they just wouldn't settle no matter what I did, I checked everything, I fed them, changed their nappies, made sure they were warm, they just wouldn't settle for me, by the time Reece came in from the office I told him to look after the twins and I was going for a long bath. By that time, I finished he had somehow managed to settle them and he put them to bed. I sat in my favourite room in the house, the room with my record collection in, I put on The Doors, LA Woman album and sat back, there is something about Jim Morrisons voice that I love. I turn over onto my side and I look at my husband, he is the love of my life, I never thought I would ever meet anyone, but here Iam, with the most loving, caring and protective husband. I stroked a loose piece of hair behind his ear, his eyes open.

"Hello gorgeous"

He put his hand on my waist, I moved in closer, and I kissed him, we hadn't had much alone time since I had the twins, I missed his touch, the feeling of his mouth all over my body. I whispered "Please Reece, fuck me"

His eyes opened wide "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure I have missed you"

I took my T-shirt off I was naked in front of him "Lie on your back"

I lay back and watched his every move, he only ever wore boxer shorts in bed, he took them off and his erection sprung out, he hovered over me, he looked at me "Are you ready for me?"

I moved slightly, opened my legs and adjusted my hips then I looked at him "Yes I'm ready" in one move he was inside me, it felt so good to feel him there again, immediately he started to move his hips and got a fast rhythm straight away, he rolled over so I was on top of him, and I started to move my hips I picked the pace up, Reece then started to rub my clit with his fingers I could feel my orgasm start to build, I threw my head forward and bit his shoulder and we came at the same time.

"Wow Marjorie where did that come from?"

I cuddled into him, and I started to cry "I don't know, I just felt so frustrated after today with the twins, they wouldn't settle no matter what I did, then you came home, and they settled for you, I felt useless, then I was angry with myself, plus we hadn't had sex since before I gave birth, I missed you"

"Oh Marjorie, don't cry, you are an amazing mum, the twins had an off day, plus don't forget they can sense when you are feeling anxious, how about I ask Siobhan and Viv to take the twins for the day, and you and I have some time together, maybe see if Charlotte and Mia would like a double lunch date" he suggested

"That sounds wonderful, do you think Siobhan and Viv would have the twins?"

"Oh, I'm sure Siobhan offered to take them the other day, plus I was thinking that along with Autumn and Winter, we could as Siobhan and Viv to be the twins' godparents"

"Thats a brilliant idea, they can be godparents to Kate and Jack, I don't want to mess around with four couples.

"Well, that's settled, we have the godparents we just need to organize the christening"

"First it's breakfast," said Reece

We got up, put our robes on, I checked on the twins they were still asleep, Reece had gone straight downstairs to the kitchen, I went upstairs to Carly's room, she was already awake and getting ready . She never closes the door to her room, it's always open, I think it's partly so she can listen out for the twins, it's also because she feels safer with it open. As I went to knock, she turned around "Good morning mam"

"Good morning my love Reece has started breakfast"

"Okay, I'm on my way down, Char has texted me, and asked if I would like to look after Harry today, I said yes as I'm off work today, and I love spending time with him, I will stay the night there too, as I'm working with Mia tomorrow"

"Oh, that will be nice" as I went to head downstairs Carly came over to me and hugged me

"What's the hug for?"

"I just want to say thank you, for everything you have done for me, I have made a few decisions about what I want to do.... I will come and speak with you and pops"

I looked at her "pops?"

"I asked Reece if I could call him pops, you know he's old.... so, it's only right I call him pops" she said

"I started laughing "And he agreed?"

"He started crying"

I went downstairs I could hear the twins starting to wake up, I walked into their room, they were both lying in bed awake, I picked Kate up and Carly walked in, and she picked Jack up we all went downstairs to the kitchen, Reece was talking on the phone as we walked in to the kitchen he looked up and smiled "Oh that's great, yes they will be ready for 9am, and Viv thank you"

"Well, that's organized Siobhan and Viv will pick the twins up at 9am, they will keep them until their bedtime at 7pm. I have spoken with Mia and Charlotte, they will meet us for lunch, I believe you are looking after Harry and sleeping over aren't you, Carly?"

"Yes pops"

We sat down for breakfast and started eating "Before I leave for Char and Mia's can I just have a chat with you both.... I have been doing a lot of thinking about what I want to do, I want to train to be a nurse, I have the qualifications, and I have applied to universities, I have been offered a place in all the universities I have applied to, I have decided to train here, I don't want to move away from everyone, and I can still work at the nurseries I spoke with Char and I can stay on at her nursery part time, and I will stay on as peer support"

"You have worked everything out, haven't you?" said Reece

I stood up and walked over to Carly "You will make an amazing nurse; we will support you with everything promise me if you feel like things are getting too much speak to someone"

"I will mam, now I'm going you and pops enjoy your day, and I will see you tomorrow"

Carly kisses me on the cheek, the hugs Reece and she heads off to Charlotte and Mia's house.
