Chapter 14

Vicky's POV

"Hey Reece, do you need some help? I ask

"Help from the two V's definitely" he replies

We spend the rest of the morning preparing the roast dinner, every so often someone would pop their head into the kitchen to see if the lunch was ready, eventually at 1pm everything was ready and set out family style, this always worked best especially for Reece and Carly as they still felt in control of what they ate, but they still ate. Everyone sits down and tucks in, I have never seen Marjorie and Siobhan both so happy they both had difficult upbringings both probably thought they would never meet anyone who would love them, here they are both hopelessly in love, their partners are amazing people, Reece is a puppy dog and supports Liverpool, Vivian is an absolute blast, she has been amazing for Shib, she is almost back to her old self, she is an Everton supporter so it's going to be great having people around me who love football, I have 2 people to go the pub with during the footy season, I may convince Reece to come up to Liverpool and watch a match at Anfield, "So mate, I was wondering what are you going to do with the space above the garage?"

"I'm not sure why?"

"I have an idea, it's something that Marjorie has had in storage for years, and I know she would love to have it here?"

"I'm intrigued, what is it?" he asks

"Hang on, Viv you fancy coming to the pub with me and Reece, I think they are showing some pre-season friendlies?" I winked at Viv

Viv catches on immediately "Yeah sounds good, I will ask Mia as well, we can leave the other's here"

Viv goes to get Mia and brings her into the kitchen "Hey Reecey Viv says we are going the pub?"

"Well, that's what we are telling everyone in there, I have something I want to show Reece, and it's something that Marj would love to have here at the new house"

"I'm interested, hang on" Mia walks into the living room, Marjorie is asleep, Siobhan is reading, and Charlotte is watching tv. Mia walks over to Charlotte, crouches down and whispers in her ear, she then goes over to Siobhan and speaks with her, Siobhan gets up and walks over to Viv, "Enjoy the football" and kisses her on the cheek. "All sorted, Char will let Marjorie know where we are when she wakes up"

We head out towards my car and see Autumn and Winter. They are sitting outside enjoying the peace and quiet "Hey little sis we are just popping out to go and watch the football". She rolls her eyes and puts her head back on winter's shoulder. We all get into my car, and I drive towards town, we arrive at a huge storage warehouse, I take them inside right to the back and I open one of the biggest storage units, inside it was wall to wall vinyl records there was a rocking chair and a large stacker stereo system.

"What on earth is this?" asks Reece

"This is Marjorie's ultimate safe space, when she was younger and her real dad was still alive, she would sit on his knee on the rocking chair, and they would listen to records, he introduced her to The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles to name a few, They would sit for hours, her mum could never understand the fascination they had, anyway he had set this up just before he died, so her mum couldn't get her hands on the record collection, as she would of sold it. When she is really struggling, she will come here and listen to records, she said years ago she would love to have this in her forever home, she didn't put them in the house she got off her grandparents as it wasn't going to be her forever home, but with you and Carly and with the twins on the way, she has her forever home, so why don't we move all of this into the space over the garage?" I said
