SMOKE SURROUNDED DIZZY as she enjoyed a cigarette. She was at her favorite restaurant eating some chips until the craving became too much to wait. A familiar presence immediately drove her insane. She looked over to him, smiling over at her was Jace.

"I can't shake you, can I?" Dizzy quizzed, handing him her cigarette. He took it and inhaled.

"No, you can't," He responded. "Going to Thomas's party tonight, Dizz?"

"'Dizz'," The girl didn't respond to him as she listened to the nickname. Jace handed her the cigarette and placed a kiss on her cheek.

"I'll see you tonight, love," Jace said before sauntering off in the opposite direction he came in.

Dizzy hated to see him go, but loved to watch him leave. Apparently the old nan beside her did too, she whistled as Jace walked off making Dizzy look at her.

She's got taste.

DIZZY STOOD BESIDE Effy in line silently. They didn't have much to say because their situation was just so different from each others. She heard people complaining and Naomi's voice, so both Dizzy and Effy looked back to find the girl cutting through the line.

"Hey," Effy greeted the blonde. Dizzy sent her a smile as she stood before them.

"You okay?" Naomi asked. Dizzy had already attempted to get the answer from her, but maybe she'd be more comfortable sharing now. Effy just shrugged. "No Cook?"

"Why would there be a Cook?" Effy quizzed.

"You're seeing him, aren't you?" Naomi questioned.

"I'm fucking him occasionally," Effy responded bluntly. "I'm not seeing him."

"There's a distinction?" Naomi said continuing to ask questions.

"Why don't you ask Dizzy about her interesting love life? Or about Jace? Or her perky fucking dog?" Effy asked passive aggressively. Dizzy rolled her eyes and looked at Effy.

"She wasn't asking me," Dizzy spat. She looked to Naomi, who gazed elsewhere. She didn't want to deal with their arguments because they were rumored to be explosive whenever they occurred. "Where's Emily, Naomi?"

Naomi looked unsure how to respond.

"Truth," Effy pushed.

"That obvious?" Naomi quizzed.

"Don't have to be a genius to work it out," Effy replied. It was obvious to them at least because they were girls. They just understood the connection. Boys usually only assumed one if they were fucking.
Dizzy sighed. "So?"
