THE DANCE DIDN'T interest Dizzy. She really didn't plan to go until one night she heard a knock at her door. She didn't answer it. Her father did. She was smoking a cigarette in her bedroom, which she hadn't been allowed to do, while her father answered the door.

"Dizzy, a strange curly haired boy is here for you!" Her father called up the stairs making her furrow her eyebrows. She rolled out of bed and came down the stairs to find JJ at the door.

"JJ?" Dizzy smiled when she seen the bouquet of flowers in his hand. He smiled back, his braces glinting in light. It had been dark by the time he had come. "What's all've this?"

"For you," He handed her the bouquet. "I wanted to ask if you would be my date, for the dance. As friends."

Dizzy took the bouquet and smelled them. How could she say no to a bouquet and cute little JJ?

"I'd love to," Dizzy responded before opening her arms for a hug, letting him hug her. He accepted and came into her bubble, giving her a quick and polite hug. "Would you like to come in?"

"No, actually, my mum is in the car waiting. Freddie and I will be looking for tuxedos, so you can tag along for that. For a dress, of course," JJ invited her to go and she nodded.

"I'll see you there, J," Dizzy replied and he sent her a small wave before backing away and heading for his mom's car.

JJ AND DIZZY agreed on a dark blue for the tuxedo and dress. Freddie wasn't too bad to hang out with either, so Dizzy was actually having a good time. She had picked out a dress that went mid thigh and scooped down at her chest.

It was hard not having a girls opinion on it, but based on the look Freddie and JJ gave her when she was done trying it on was confirmation that it looked good on her.

Now they picked out ties for the boys. JJ needed a dark blue one to match the dress and Freddie just needed a nice under shirt.

That's when they spotted Katie and Emily. Katie's face had clearly been fucked up. Dizzy felt bad for her as she seen the damage for the first time.

"Hi Katie," Freddie greeted, she glared at Dizzy.

"What do you want?" She asked, her glare moving on to Freddie himself.

"Nothing," He responded. "I just wanted to see how you are."

"Oh, now you wanna see how I am. Now that you're here with Diana, so you can relay the message. How sweet," Katie said making Dizzy roll her eyes.

"Effy hasn't spoken to me, Katie. And believe it or not, I do think what she did was fucked. I'm sorry for not checking up though, that was messed up on my part," Dizzy confessed her faults making Katie nod satisfied with the girl.
