Just as the temptation is about to become too much you realize what you are doing and pull back. You grit your teeth, push your dick into Jeane one last time out of habit, then pull free and release her. Lowering your head shamefully, you place your hand over your face and begin pacing as the mage slides down the pillar you had her pressed up against. She is panting, staring up with a mix of shock and relief. Finally, in the brief moment of pause after you release her Jeane collects herself and lifts both hands threateningly towards you.
"What? You are not planning on going through with it?" She questions. You get the feeling that she is now more or less in control. You do not know about her magic, but you know magic in general from your father. The time to act has passed and if you make a move on her now she could do so much worse to you than you ever had any intention to do to her.
"You look to be upset at yourself. Why?" It is surprising that she does not sound more upset than she is curious. You stare down at the elf on the ground, then look at your hands. They feel a bit coarse. By rubbing your fingers together you see that it is makeup that is on your palm. Then you notice the place where your hand was gripping her skin tightly is a different tone. A dull gray that is even more pale than the porcelain-like skin tone you believed she had before."Make-up?"
"Obviously. You know my secret and you have that taboo magic, as well. I should just get rid of you here. Hero or not." Jeane comments.
You do not want to be gotten rid of, but even you have to admit that her reasoning is sound. You think back to Chesharidge.
"I think I've had a problem for a while, now." Jeane lifts a brow, but does not move her hands. You see sparks beginning to circle and gather around them threateningly."Indeed?" You can not be sure if she is listening, or just allowing you your last words.
"Back home a complete scumbag said once that you can make a plan in your head to reach the best outcome, but every choice changes what you want. Sometimes it's a little. Sometimes it's a lot." You pause, not sure if you are remembering it correctly.
"Or something like that.""Intriguing, really." Jeane is not really impressed, but she is still listening.
"Sorry. It doesn't justify what I did, but ever since I decided to do something I shouldn't have back then I've been chasing that same feeling without even realizing. Then it all kind of came to a head with this." You shrug lightly and stop pacing to stand and face the woman you almost ended.
"But that doesn't matter. I'll accept responsibility for what I almost did." You close your eyes and brace for the worst. Instead of pain, or nothingness as death had often been described, you just hear rustling in front of you. After enough of a pause you open your eyes and see Jeane's slender face close to yours. She is staring at you quite hard with her dark brows furrowed."You are serious." You feel in her vague disbelief that is slowly beginning to give.
"I am seriously sorry." You add earnestly, leaning back. She leans forward to keep the same distance between your face and hers.
"Hmmm." Her eyes progressively narrow, staring into yours. Finally she relents and leans back, allowing you some room to breath. You did not notice it when you were fucking her, but she has a pleasant aroma that is not unlike something you remember from your father. A common scent that mages carry that is attributed to the smell of mana being used and expended. It is a strange, almost 'clean' smell, like the air has been sanitized of everything in it.
"I believe you." She decides. Relief washes over you.
"But I do not forgive you." That much is to be expected. What you did, let alone what you almost did was unforgivable."I understand if you no longer want to teach me anything." You utter solemnly. Jeane becomes angered at that to such an extent that it surprises you. Her fists clench and her teeth grit.
