I hopped off the private jet, followed by A'ja and her crew. As well as Ja and Ant. Yes, Anthony Edwards.
Ja is obviously my best friend but we been tight with Ant for a long time. A'ja and her team had just finished round one of the playoffs, beating Seattle. So they had a couple days off until the next round starts.
As for me, preseason is basically here. First game is Tuesday. Right now it's Thursday. For these few days that we do have off, I decided to take everyone to Paris. Mainly cause Ja had me fucked up.
We landed later in the day. So we're gonna check into the AirBnB and then afterwards go out to eat. Once we got there the sleeping arrangements were easy.
Of course A'ja and I was in a room together. Everyone else is kind of self explanatory. Ja and Ant in their own rooms. Syd and Kelsey in one, the messy duo. Chelsea and Alysha, the classy duo, in another. And well Jackie wanted her own space so it worked out.
Ja, Ant, and I sat at the table waiting for the girls to finish up. I already knew they was about to take a million years. They acting like it's fashion week or something.
"Ay, dawg, tell me about this beef with Bam?" Ant asked, lighting up a blunt.
We been having a field day ever since the NBA stopped testing for marijuana. That's the best thing the league could have ever done.
"I'm not beefing with nobody. He mad cause I'm dating his crush. He better watch his mouth tho. That's it." I answer.
"I been seeing you with A'ja. I meant to congratulate you on that. If y'all ever have kids, they bout to be some tall ass athletic demons." He said, making me and Ja laugh.
I missed by boy Anthony. In fact we might be teammates. Vegas had acquired Bradley Beal, but I think they about to trade him before the season start. Don't get me wrong Brad is a great player, he's just not as reliable as he used to be.
I'm pretty sure if I put in a word to the front office they can try to get Ant. I've played my first four years with Ja. We had good times but I know he's not gonna leave Memphis.
"I don't even wanna think about any damn kids. Y'all know me, I gotta turn her into a wife first." I reply.
"You always been the lover type. We just be rocking out with these hoes." Ant responded as he dapped up Ja.
"That's y'all problem. You gotta know the difference between a hoe and a good woman. I had my fair share of hoes. We got them memories together. I wouldn't even think to play with A'ja like that." I say, hitting the blunt.
