Y/N's P.O.V
I walked into the front office of the team building. I have a request to make and I'm hoping it can be done.
The trip to Paris came to an end a lot faster than I anticipated. Everybody had fun though so that's all that matters. That trip made A'ja and I closer for obvious reasons.
But ever since that night she's became clingy. That's the best way I can describe it. Not that I mind or anything. I can just see the change in her behavior.
"What's going on Y/N?" Bob, the team's GM, asked me.
He used to be the GM for the Warriors and we all know what moves he made over there. Two words, Kevin Durant.
"I have a trade proposal." I answer.
"I'm listening." He said, as he motioned for me to sit down.
"I know that the front office is planning on trading Bradley Beal. Is it possible to trade him for Anthony Edwards?" I ask.
He looked completely caught off guard. "That's a hard one. I'm not sure if Minnesota would even trade him. He's there future."
"You can offer Brad, we have future first round picks, and cash assets. Brad, two first, and cash should really be it." I respond.
"You ever thought about being a GM when you retire?" Bob asked.
"I haven't thought about retirement yet. I'm only entering my fifth year." I chuckle.
"Well you should. I'll get on that and see what I can do. I can't promise anything though." He said.
I nodded leaving his office. Today was Monday, our first preseason game being tomorrow. Today was the start of round two in the playoffs for the Aces though.
I was on my way to the game, getting a text from A'ja.
