"I'm not opposed to it at all but how is that gon work? That's all I'm saying. Not only does it put the Royalty over the salary cap but that starting lineup is gonna look crazy." I say.
"Yeah you right about that." Ant said.
"It would be a small ball lineup. Steph knows a lot about it. It's worked for him in Golden State for years." Ja replied.
Ja actually joining the Royalty might happen. The NBA is a business. And with this nigga continuously telling Memphis to trade him on social media, they not taking that lightly.
"That's a lot of positions changing. You would still play point, Steph would have to be the shooting guard. Ant would take over at small forward. I'd move to power forward and Bron would play center position." I say breaking it down.
That's also a lot of ball dominant players. I'm curious to see how this would actually work out. Could end up a bigger failure than when the Nets had Kyrie, Harden, and KD.
"Undersized according to positions, yes. But the defense is still there. You're one of the best defensive players this league has ever seen. You're on track to win MVP and Defensive Player of the Year all in one." Ja responded.
"So what do you want me to do? Get in Bob's ear to actually continue with trading for you." I say, since he isn't letting up on this.
"I mean you did it for Ant." He shrugged.
"He not wrong." Ant said.
"Fine but I can't promise anything." I say.

He's lucky if this even happens. The trade deadline is also approaching. So something would have to happen quickly.
"Ight, enough work talk. What's up with you and KP man?" I ask Ant.
"I meant to ask about that at the dinner. Y'all gotta stop leaving me out the mix." Ja said.
Ant smiled, hard as hell. Damn Kelsey got him like that. "Man, that's my girl. Like ain't none of that. I'm finally locked in."
"I'd keep her too if she was accepting me knowing I got four kids and four baby mamas." I reply.
Ja laughed while Ant just side eyed me. Nah real shit though, I'm happy that Ant is happy. It's a good thing he finally settling down. He's four kids too late but better late than never.
