All star weekend was over and it now back to business. My team did win as I figured it would and I won the All Star game MVP.
Now it's the second half of the season. This season feels like it's going by so fast. First game back from break is in Chicago against the Bulls. It doesn't start until eight. So until then I'd be with Angel.
Who just so happens to live in Chicago as she does play for the Sky. A'ja was busy working. She had business to handle with Nike. She's working on her signature line.
Angel wanted me to feature on her show. Unapologetically Angel. Of course I agreed. I'm bound to have a good time with my girl answering messy questions.
The events that happened on V-Day aren't over with. The following day that was all A'ja could talk about. I think she likes Angel for real. Ant might've been right about her catching feelings.
I sat down in the chair, ready to answer whatever questions. I already know a few of them are about to be messy as hell.
It started off very chill, asking about my season which is being labeled as one of the greatest seasons ever. I kinda like this podcast shit.
"I heard the Dallas Cowboys offered you a contract. Is that true?" Angel asked.
"They did. I had played in the NFL celebrity game like a year or two ago. And like the next morning Rich Paul calls me and he's like 'Jerry Jones wants you to sign with the Cowboys expeditiously. Name your price.' Clearly I didn't go for it." I reply.
"Why not? That's a history making moment. To have played for the NBA and the NFL." Angel responded.
"I believe I could do it but not now. Football runs in my family. I happened to be the one to take a different route with basketball. I need to win a ring first. I have accomplishments within the NBA that I need to achieve first before I just join another league." I say.
"I get it. It would be nice to see you in the NFL though." She said.
"The Raiders offered me a contract too. I would actually love to play for the Raiders for a season. Since I'm already in Vegas. Which is where you need to be." I reply.
She laughed, covering her smile with the question cards. "Why I need to be in Vegas?"
"Cause that's where I'm at. But the Aces could use you in all honesty. A'ja needs some help. She be the only one down there in that post. I'ma find a way to get you there." I answer.
