Nobody's P.O.V (Third Person)

Some Days Ago

Atlanta, GA

Y/N stood next to the casket. Looking at her father, his lifeless body just lying there. Maybe Bri was right about him never coming home but deep down Y/N believed he was.

That they could be a family again. She has a legit career, her money is clean now. She could've helped him to repay for all the ways he helped her.

Y/N didn't want to cry. She's done enough of that. Crying, mixed with no sleep, mixed with all of her thoughts and feelings about everything and everyone.

She's fighting battles trying to accept these deaths. She can't sleep at night. Every time she closes her eyes, all she sees is Bam. She didn't know what it was.

It's not guilt. She doesn't feel guilty for killing him. She doesn't regret it. In her mind, he had it coming. She couldn't figure out why he was popping up in her dreams. She can't sleep because of it.

She's running off of energy drinks, coffee, hell you name it. But she's been putting on the act that she's fine in front of everybody.

She thanked everyone and was grateful for them coming together that day at the restaurant. It meant more to her than what she showed.

The funeral was over with. The casket about to be placed in the ground, except it wasn't. Y/N was having her moment of prayer with him. As if he could hear her and talk back.

"I know this is hard for you." Her mom said, standing next to her.

"That's an understatement." Y/N said, her tone being so cold.

"You were the light of his life. His golden child. I know you're hurting baby but you're gonna have to let him go. Jacob too. They're good. They have each other now." Her mom replied.

Despite not wanting to cry, she did. Y/N hugged her mother, letting the casket finally be buried. After the emotional moment, she was going back home to Vegas.

Atlanta will always be her original home but she couldn't be here for too long. It's not safe and she knows that.

She called Bri, making sure she was ready to go. After speaking with her mother, she left. Her mom is right. She needs to let them go. Get that weight off of her.
