Y/N's P.O.V

It's been a month since A'ja walked out and never came back. I guess I can see where she coming from but I don't think I'm wrong. I will stand on the fact that Bam needed his ass whooped.

She won't talk to me at all. A few days after the incident, Bam ended up passing away from his injuries. That made her block me on everything. I've been having Chelsea check on her for me.

No matter if A'ja ever decides to talk to me again or not, I will never regret killing Bam. The NBA did like a whole ceremony for him and well you know I had to play my part.

I've been keeping up with the investigation they have regarding to Bam's situation. They have no leads at all. Nothing to go off of. In the direction it's going, Miami PD is just gon have to take the loss.

Right now, I was picking up my sister from the airport. With everything that has been going on, I forgot that she called me. Our family issues are all over the place.

I didn't even speak to my mother because I didn't see the point in it. I was going to at first but I don't have the time for that. I ended up just booking my sister a flight.

"Y/N, I missed you so much." Bri said, hugging me.

"I'm not sure if I missed you." I reply, hugging her back.

"Please, you know you do." She said, way too cockily.

Her being her is just a reflection of my entire childhood. My whole life. I raised her. I did everything for her. My mother can't say she did anything for Bri.

I taught her to walk, potty trained her, fed her everyday. I'm the one who got her anything she ever needed or wanted. When she started transitioning into a young woman, I'm the one who taught her about the birds and the bees, having a period.

And I don't even know anything about that, because I don't get periods. I had to educate myself in order to educate her. She's basically my damn daughter. My twin for real.

I helped her with putting her bags in my truck. The Ram Truck and my Rolls Royce were the only cars that A'ja did not touch when she was losing her mind.

Bri excitedly looked around Vegas, as she's never been here before. Or anywhere. She was with me for a while when I was playing for Memphis but I never took her on away games or anything.

When I pulled up to my house, her eyes widened. My house in Memphis wasn't as big compared to this one.

"How much money do you have?" Bri asked, making me chuckle.
