You're a genius Ahsoka.

No one was around to hear the words leave Obiwans lips.

Not as he halted his attack from his small ship to watch the bright colours of one of the star destroyers implode.

He knew the moment the beauty of its destruction caught his attention that it was Ahsoka's doing.

Only Anakin could have taught her to do it so well..

The ship she had chosen to attack was in the middle of its fleet, leading 4 star destroyers behind it.

They were out numbered by 3 ships the rebellion had at the moment, with both sides knowing there was more to come.

Ahsoka, somehow, with Anakin's lessons in mind, had managed to code the ship to turn on its fleet.

Colliding into the one on its right destroy both exploding into fiery destruction of hope, as well as heavily damaging the star destroyers around them.

Obiwan grinned at the wonderful sight of it. It had Anakin's signature written all over it and if his former brother hadn't been on a self destructive path right now Obiwan knew he would have been proud.

As he allowed himself one more moment to take in the glory of it he prepared his ship for landing.

This didn't mean the empire was ready to give up.

They may be at the disadvantage in the air. But they still had land.

The question was, would the rebellion follow and fight? Or take this as an opportunity to flee...

He didn't know.

But as he allowed himself one final glance at the dissolving reds and oranges.

He prayed to whoever would listen, and the force, that Ahsoka had managed to get off that star destroyer on time.

———————-

A fiery red illuminated the sky, yellows and oranges blending in it like an artist was splashing paint across a canvas.

The sight quite literally took Anakin's breath away as a string of pride fought past the wall trapping all his emotions.

He knew exactly who had done this.. Ahsoka.

Turning his aircraft he faced the planet below them, a purple outterim one in which he had no idea what its name was or what creatures resided on it.

The force pulled at him, willing him to land on its planet.

It was more persistent than it had been in a while, as if a fake energy was possessing it-

If he allowed himself to feel, Anakin was sure fear would reign havoc over his body.

But he felt nothing.

m Instead there was a mild irritation at the knowledge that his former emperor was down there.

Waiting for him.

It didn't take longer than two seconds for Anakin to make up his mind.

He was going to find Palpatine and kill him.

The empire could not survive without its leader.

And without the empire... Padmé and his children were safe.

Lux was swearing uncontrollably as their tie fighter plummeted forward, alarms blaring from its control panel.

Garo, who looked green, was climbing up front in an attempt to aid Lux in his futile attempts of gaining control of the aircraft.

Ashoka was barely aware of them, felt nothing at the prospect of colliding into another space ship as the force flowed strong in her veins. Stronger than she had ever felt it.
