After ng yakapan namin kagabi, we just talked and shared some stories. Parang walang past na nangyari. I was almost done preparing the cookies when she came.
She smiled at me, and I smiled back. Dumiretso na siya sa table at sinimulan ang report.
Busy siya sa pagsusulat, nilapitan ko naman siya at niyakap patalikod.
"Wifey, how's the report?" I asked. That's our callsign. I missed calling her that way. She smiled.
"Almost done, hubby. Madali lang naman to." She happily said.
I smiled at her and kissed her head. This is us before. When we were still together.
"Can I see that?" I asked.
She covered the paper and took it away of my sight.
"Kapag napublish nalang. Para surprise." She said then smiled.
"Ipapublish yan?" Taka kong tanong.
I did'nt know that it would be published. Akala ko report lang for requirement.
"Yes. Basta gawa ko, pinapublish nila." She boredly said.
"Oh? Eh bakit parang ayaw mo yun, wifey?" I asked then held her chin to face me.
Napasimangot siya.
"Eh kasi, isa ako sa pinakamagaling na journalist. Sabi nila. Pero, ayoko lang kasi na may hater." Nakasimangot niyang sabi sabay pout.
Hahaha! Ang cute ng wifey ko, ang sarap halikan. What did I say?! Erase! Forget it!
"Wag ka ngang mag-pout." I said then pinched her cheeks.
"Bakit naman? Eh gusto ko eh!" She said then pouted more. Natetempt ako shit!
"Natetempt akong halikan ka." I teasingly said.
"Edi halikan mo ako." She seriously said.
I smiled at her.
"Ayoko nga. Wag ka na kasi magpout, wifey." I said then she rolled her eyes.
Ang cute niya talaga. Kapag ako kasama niya, nagiging childish talaga siya. Hahaha.
I looked at her and she was smiling. That smile, na ngayon ko lang ulit nakita. I missed it.
Ngayon ko lang ulit nakita, na masaya siya, and I'm glad I'm the reason.
"Hubby. Ligo tayo sa ilog then Movie marathon tayo sa inyo!" She happily said. I smiled at her.
Pumunta kami sa garden at naligo kami. Ang kulit niya, nakikipag basaan siya sakin. Binasa ko siya ng binasa.
"Ahhh! Tama na Wilson! Hahaha! Stooop!" Sigaw niya sakin habang tawa ako ng tawa. Binasa ko siya lalo.
