Nari gripped the steering wheel with a sense of freedom she hadn't felt in months. The sleek black car purred beneath her, the engine a soft hum against the background of the city's buzz. Jungkook's black card was tucked safely in her bag, the weight of it a constant reminder of the luxury she had access to.

"Of course, it was his card, but isn't he mine? His card is mine... his everything is mine."

She smiled at the thought, knowing full well how possessive he was, and how annoyed he would be when he found out she'd left without his permission.

He didn't want her to leave, had practically barricaded the door to stop her, but she was too damn stubborn for that.

A few weeks ago, she wouldn't have dared to push back like this, but after months of being under his constant watch, she needed some air.

Some space to breathe.

And maybe a little retail therapy to celebrate her freedom.

After all, she had earned it.

Pulling into the mall parking lot, Nari parked the car and stepped out, adjusting her sunglasses as she looked around. The cool breeze ruffled her hair as she headed toward the entrance, excitement bubbling within her. It wasn't just the shopping-she loved how she felt now.

Free.

Independent.

Not the caged bird she'd been for so long.

As she approached the glass doors, her pace quickened. She could already picture herself surrounded by racks of clothes, shoes, and whatever else caught her fancy.

Today was her day.

She pulled open the door and stepped inside, her heels clicking against the marble floor. Just as she was about to head toward the elevators, she collided with something-or rather, someone.

"Oh!" she gasped as she stumbled back, catching herself before she fell.

The man she'd run into wasn't as lucky.

His belongings scattered across the floor, his papers fluttering around like fallen leaves. Nari's heart sank with embarrassment.

"I'm so sorry!" she said quickly, kneeling down to gather his things. "I wasn't looking where I was going. Let me help you."

The man crouched beside her, his voice smooth and calm as he said, "No need to worry, miss. Accidents happen."

She glanced up, meeting his eyes for the first time. There was something sharp about his gaze, though his expression remained friendly. He was tall, dressed in a tailored suit that spoke of wealth and power, though not in the same way as Jungkook. His smile was polished, practiced, but there was something beneath the surface-something she couldn't quite place.

"Here," she said, handing him the last of his papers. "I'm really sorry. If anything's damaged, I can pay for it. I mean... I'll pay you back."

The man chuckled, waving off her concern. "No need for that. Really, it's fine. Just a few papers."

She stood up, offering a sheepish smile as she brushed off her hands. "Well, I feel terrible. Let me at least make it up to you. Coffee?"

He raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "Are you always this generous to strangers you bump into?"

Nari shrugged, feeling a little more relaxed now. "Maybe. Or maybe I just feel guilty for ruining your day."

He smiled again, this time a bit softer, more genuine. "Well, I'd be a fool to refuse such a kind offer."
