The Man's POV
As I leaned against the cold brick wall outside the mansion, I couldn't help but smirk. The sight of Jungkook and Nari together was just as I had imagined-too wrapped up in each other to notice the danger lurking right under their noses.
Jungkook, the so-called dangerous mafia boss, was oblivious to the web I was spinning around him. I watched them through the window, my expression a mix of amusement and disdain.
He looked so soft, resting his head on her lap, as if he were just some ordinary man. But beneath that facade, I knew he was a predator, fiercely protective of what he deemed his.
My thoughts shifted to my plans. I had spent years meticulously plotting my rise in this ruthless world, and now, everything was finally falling into place.
Jungkook's territory was ripe for the taking, and I intended to take it all-his wealth, his influence, and now, it seemed, his precious Nari as well.
She was a wildcard I hadn't anticipated. The way she moved, her confidence-it intrigued me. Jungkook's possessiveness over her was palpable, a weakness I would exploit.
If I could gain her trust, I could turn her into my greatest asset. After all, who wouldn't want to betray a man who claimed to love them?
As I observed them, I felt a flicker of excitement. This was not just about territory anymore; it was about domination, a chance to break Jungkook. The thought sent a thrill through me. I could picture his face when he realized I had taken everything from him-the pain, the betrayal. It would be exquisite.
I couldn't let them know I was here, lurking in the shadows, so I remained hidden. I took a deep breath, steadying my pulse as I prepared to make my move.
The game was on, and I was in control.
Plans and ManipulationI would make my approach soon, perhaps during one of her little shopping trips or those moments when Jungkook let his guard down. I had seen how he reacted to threats before; he was reckless when it came to protecting what was his. And she was definitely his.
The moment I'd collided with Nari at the mall, the pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place. I had played the innocent stranger, someone who needed help and in turn, could offer her what Jungkook could not-freedom.
I could be the man she confided in, the one who understood her when she felt overwhelmed by his possessiveness.
I grinned to myself. She would be curious, drawn to me, and before they knew it, I would be the one controlling the narrative.
Tomorrow would be the day I would make my move. I had plans to cross paths with her again, to make her see that I could provide a way out of Jungkook's shadow-a life without the burdens of being the mafia boss's girl.As I stepped back into the darkness, I couldn't shake the thrill of the challenge ahead. It was only a matter of time before everything changed, and when it did, Jungkook would learn just how ruthless the shadows could be.
The perfect storm was brewing, and I intended to be at the center of it all, pulling the strings until they danced to my tune.
