Nari's POV

Why...why am I like this?

My head was spinning, a wild storm of confusion and something darker.

Dizzy?

That word didn't even scratch the surface. It felt as though my body had been taken hostage, my limbs unresponsive, my willpower shattered into a million pieces.

And then there was him.

Kim Taehyung.

I was on top of him, my body pressed against his in a way that should've made me recoil. But I couldn't move. Couldn't think. Couldn't even breathe properly.

My weight rested entirely on him, and he didn't seem to mind-if anything, he seemed to revel in it. One of his hands was tangled in my hair, his fingers moving gently, almost soothingly, while the other rested firmly on my waist, holding me in place as though I might try to escape.

But I wasn't escaping. That's what terrified me the most.

My voice was barely a whisper. "Why...can't I...move?"

His chuckle vibrated through me, low and sinister. "Shh, little fox. Don't strain yourself. You're exactly where you need to be."

I tried to lift my arms, to push him away, but they wouldn't respond. My body felt foreign, like it wasn't mine anymore. A puppet with invisible strings.

"I don't..." My words faltered, my tongue heavy in my mouth. "I don't let people touch me."

"Mm, that's what I like about you," he murmured, his lips dangerously close to my ear. "That fire, that defiance. But tonight, little fox, you're mine. All mine."

A shiver ran down my spine, but I couldn't tell if it was fear or something else entirely.

"Taehyung..." I managed, my voice trembling. "What...did you do?"

"Nothing you didn't ask for," he replied smoothly, his fingers trailing from my waist to my back, drawing slow, deliberate circles. "You're just tired, Nari. Overwhelmed. Let me take care of you."

"No," I whispered, but it was so weak, so hollow, I barely believed it myself.

His hand moved back to my waist, his grip tightening ever so slightly. "Your body says yes, even if your lips say no. Isn't that interesting?"

My heart raced, panic mingling with something else-something I didn't want to name.

I forced myself to look up at him, to meet his eyes, but the intensity of his gaze almost broke me. There was something in them that I couldn't decipher, a mix of hunger and...possession.

"You're...playing games," I muttered, trying to cling to my defiance.

He smiled, a slow, predatory curve of his lips. "Oh, little fox, you have no idea. But don't worry-I'll teach you the rules."

Taehyung's POV

She was exquisite like this. Vulnerable, pliant, her fiery spirit momentarily subdued.

She didn't know, couldn't know, what I'd done.

The "special spice" I'd added to her ramen? A blend of carefully chosen substances. Not enough to harm her-I wasn't a monster, after all-but enough to loosen her defenses. To make her body betray her.

"Look at you," I murmured, my fingers tracing the curve of her jaw as she lay limp against me. "So strong, so fierce...and now? Completely at my mercy."
